I'm a little disappoined in the casting here. I've seen a couple of Documentaries on Waco recently and the only guy I can picture playing David Koresh is Bradley Cooper. Looks, mannerisms, very similar.

There was fuckups and grandstanding on multiple levels, not the least of which was Koresh setting fire to the compound himself.

Obviously the biggest blunder was not taking him into custody outside of the compound, and making a big fucking show of the whole thing.

Yup. And this 'show of force' backfired big time. A tragedy that could have been easily prevented on one of his many trips to the local restaurants.

    Nahhhh...Fuck em.
Religious freaks who deserved to die like dogs.

I only have seen the trailer advertised. Not really interested in watching a seven part series.

Shannon is a way better actor than Coopey, though.

Not the Shannon part, the David Koresh part. Played by Taylor Kitsch.

Yeah, but about a third or so of them were just kids who had the misfortune of having crazy/stupid parents. One girl was whored off by her family at 12 to be a bride to David koresh. Koresh would say “sex is bad for you, I will bear the burden of sex for everyone” and screw all the women and the stupid cucks would be okay with it.

The miniseries was pretty good, not great or anything, but interesting enough. I still need to see “Rules of Engagement” which is supposed to be a good doc on it. Taylor Klitsch did a good job as Koresh.
