    Buckley was a miserable awful cunt of a man but a nobody like Shapiro couldn't shine his shoes and guys like Hannity couldn't get a gig valet parking at a dinner party he might've attended

    Shapiro and Buckley think along the same lines and would have great intellectual conversations. Shapiro is no dummy like Hannity. But of course, im sure you never have read any of Shapiro's books or probably never listened to more than 3 minutes of him.

    We will have to agree to disagree.

    Anyways. back to this movie. dont really want to move this thread to the political forum

    It's a good movie. Whether or not it got nominated, I don't care. Most of those movies end up being bullshit anyways.

    Shapiro is about as intellectual as his audience---i.e. Not at all

    I liked the film, good times... but I wasn't thinking Oscar while watching it

    these guys are crazy. Im watching Mudbound right now and if they wanted a black contender, this would have been just fine. And it wouldn't be fake. This movie is well deserving of a Oscar nomination.

    Been meaning to watch that for awhile, but it seems like the type of movie you really have to be in the right mood for. Almost like homework or getting beat by your dad for breaking the window on the garage with a baseball.

    So it's worth a watch?
