Yes.... please God... let's see this fight in the fall. It's about time Cherry Garcia got retired.

Spence would dominate him. Garcia is so tough though that I wouldn't be surprised to see him go the distance

I think the beating will become so bad that Angel will stop it at some point.

If Danny is serious, then I see no reason why this couldn't happen in the fall.

Garcia has a gimme coming with Rios, Spence has a gimme hometown fight in June, then it should happen. Makes sense, because Thurman is gonna most likely rematch Porter in the fall.

My guess is garcia either has to fight porter or spence, so it may as well be spence, as he would lose either one.

LOL. In your fantasy world where Shawn Porter is actually an elite fighter and much better than he actually is, perhaps a win over Garcia is a sure thing. In the REAL world, where Shawn Porter is a limited, one dimensional fighter, he's not a sure bet over Garcia. Porter-Garcia is essentially a 50-50 fight, but I think I'd pick Danny. His countering skills could shine against Porter.

Porter is Thurman's Mandatory and They're Basically SITTING On that Spot Until he's Granted a RE...

Garcia Would Be in Line AFTER Thurman-Porter II...

Garcia COULD Fight Spence Anytime he Wants...Personally, REED Thinks he's Just TALKING Tough, but We'll See Come This Fall...

It Certainly WON'T Be Spence's Fault, if this Bout Fails to Materialize...

best thing for thurman would be to lose a close decision/robbery in a rematch with porter so they have to fight a third time

Don't give Thurman any ideas. He might be so spooked of Spence, that he'll take a dive in the Porter rematch to force a rubbermatch.

spence vs thurman is not a big deal to me. Id rather see spence face crawford or some guys at 154lbs

At this point, I think for all us hardcores Spence-Crawford is THE best fight in boxing to be made. Of course I'd rather see it than Spence-Thurman. For my money, Kell Brook is better than Thurman, and we already saw what happened there.

And yeah, I'd love to see Spence in there with the 154 crop. How do you think he would fare?

Thurman is a better WW than Brook and Crawford, so it's obviously the best fight to make at WW

But for me, the best fight in boxing right now is Loma vs Garcia

There's no proof that Thurman is better than Brook. All we know is that Brook beat Porter more clearly and easier.

    And Crawford would outclass Thurman.

Loma-Mikey is an excellent match up, but it might be very tactical. Both are counterpunchers.

It's hard to envision Spence-Crawford NOT having fireworks, because Spence''s style forces it.

Thurman will prolong it for as long as he can. He will try to seek every possible option, including a Garcia rematch if necessary to avoid Spence.

As for Spence-Garcia, I see Danny getting stopped late. It's just a bad match up for him against a higher caliber fighter.

I ain't holding for Loma-Garcia happening. Mikey says he's going back to 135, but I dunno if I believe him yet. He might just stay and defend his title at 140 after he beats Lipinets.

I disagree. Spence-Thurman is a bigger fight right now, even for hardcores. Sure...Crawford looks to be a better fighter than Thurman and I'd give him a better chance against Spence than I would give "one time", but Thurman is the linear consensus champion at 147lb, is better known and has a BIG mouth. That's the fight most fans casual or hardcore want made desperately.

I wouldn't say Thurman is better known than Crawford. Probably the opposite at this point. NOBODY in the mainstream knows who tf Keith Thurman is.

I can see more animosity and trash talk during the build-up of Spence-Crawford, cause I get the feeling they don't like eachother.

For me, it's the second best fight to be made in the sport. Spence-Crawford just has a certain elecricity to it that Loma-Garcia lacks.

Crawford will look spectacular in dispatching Horn, and people will forget about Thurman.

Lol, I've brought you stats that clearly show it's not the case, yet you always goes back to this little narrative. Brook didn't beat Porter more clearly than Thurman. It was a close disputed fight, even if you prefer to be willingly blind.

As for Crawford, wakes me up when he faces somenone decent. Guy been a pro for nearly a decade and the best names he has is eurobum Postol and fat midget Gamboa.

Gamboa was giving him hell with his speed and power until he gassed. Thurman will tag him hard and often, and he's a much bigger puncher than the midget. I don't think it would end well for Crawford

Brook needed friendly judges to beat Carson Jones. He's an inferior fighter to Thurman

You'd be dead wrong. Thurman-Garcia averaged at more than 3 millions viewers, while Idongo Crawford wasn't even able to get a million.

In fact, Thurman ratings has pretty much blown out of the water Crawford ones for their whole carreer

Can't see for the life of me the case for Brook-Porter being close. Porter did NOTHING effective in that fight. Granted, I'm not saying that Brook put on some Benitez-Palomino type boxing masterclass, but he definitely controlled the fight with his jab and landed really the ONLY clean punches.

Again, you're in the same boat as X , and are completely distorting history. I've shown that according to most Media, Brook-Porter was a very close, if not controversial fight.

Well, you might think so, but it doesn't change the fact that it was a close/contentious fight, according to most of the media.

Already posted it, but seems I have to intervene again to stop the Brook fans from rewriting history

This is a compilation of media scorecards.
Nine members of the press believe Shawn Porter deserved the decision against Kell Brook - Boxing News

    115-113 Brook: 17
    115-114 Brook: 3
    116-112 Brook: 18
    116-113 Brook: 3
    117-111 Brook : 5
    117-112 Brook: 3
    114-114: 4
    115-113 Porter: 3
    115-114 Porter: 2
    116-112 Porter: 3
    117-113 Porter: 1

The majority of the writers either had it for Brook by 2 points or less, a draw or for Porter. Nothing clear in that fight
