yes, seems there's a huge danger of this happening. if this movie is like 80-90% fresh on rottentomatoes, it's probably shit

reviewers of this and wonder woman are heavily influenced by 'social desirability bias', especially in the current climate

but the hero & director do, & it's gonna inflate the favourable reviews from those employed as professional movie critics

  3. 100%.
Some people just won´t have it though. I´ve lost count of the people who claim every time they watch a Marvel release, it´s the best fucking thing ever.
    Until the next one.
And I bet they forget half of what actually went on in the damn movie, let alone any one-liners.

It´s just throwaway (albeit entertaining) shit.

  4. Well I hope not. I hope it's just a good film period.

  6. For once, you'r right.
I mean HTF would such a globally world-famous and 'well-known' comicbook character like Black Panther outsell such mediocre or lesser-known characters as Captain America, Thor or Spider-Man?

    Amazing, isn't it?

We have all seen the Last Jedi debacle. The movie had an RT score of 91% while the audience score is only 48%. They say it is because of DC fans manipulations. That is bullshit. I haven't seen the movie but there are many negative userreviews. The media are now trying to manipulate the masses to go watch the Black Panther.

  8. I have to say, The Last Jedi definely gave credence to the theory of “Disney paid critics”. That film was shit shit shit. Definitely something dodgy was going on there.

I expect black panther to be good on its own merits though. It’s a good character and it has a good director and a great cast. Plus the MCU standard is pretty high

  9. It is but it's not this constant 'sequentially superior' series, movie after movie which is what critics are making it out to be and the dumb public are literally buying into it, again and again.

I got to agree this conclusion as I have already read some weird Yahoo! articles calling 'Black Panther' "the most important Marvel film so far..." just because of the race angle 'bold move'. There was also another writer that somehow saw a connection of the DC fans plot with white supremacists calling the comments of these DC fans 'hate speech' which is just pure bullshit. By the way Facebook closed down that page as they perceived it as 'hate speech'.

  11. So far, so good. 100% on Rotten Tomatoes after 52 reviews.

  12. Of course.
I mean how could such a future classic of movie-making be anything less than 100%?

Notice you got your bias into your sig., ya racist fuck.

  13. Why is a film poster racist?

  14. Beware of the reviews for this one though as they are riddled with spoilers.

well it's a cultural event, so will watch it, even if it turns out to be another Wonder Woman - more concerned with shallow political ideology than with quality

will watch out for the Chinese reviews; Chinese viewers don't give a shit about left-wing identity politics, so good reviews more likely to signal that this is actually a good movie

I watched a non-spoiler review video by two dudes on youtube that are true fanboys. They loved it. But of course they love even crap like 'Suicide Squad' so I can't take their opinion seriously.

Why isn't there a single black person in the Lord of the Rings movie?

  19. Shuri (T'chala"s daughter) helps The Winter Soldier remove the HYDRA programming chip in his head so (he also only has 1 arm now) he becomes Bucky again in time for Avengers: Infinity War.

Also, T'challa opens up and shares secrets of Wakanda to the U.N.

    SPOILER:
THESE ARE THE TWO POST-MOVIE-CREDIT SCENES!!

  20. I'm staying away from this thread after this post, lol. Mostarda wants to spoil this shit as usual. Luckily I knew what he was up to before reading too much.

I'm closing my eyes, sticking my fingers in my ears and shouting "lalalala" until I see this film. lol

Hancock is an awesome character. They could have done much more with the movie.

If you really want to be safe you should avoid the entire forum untill you have watched the movie. Mostarda can ruin it for you in a totally unrelated thread.

I agree with this. Hancock had potential but was ultimately disappointing.

  26. Jason Bateman ruined Hancock for me. He’s an annoying cunt.

  27. Or I can open up multiple threads...with the spoilers in the fockin title!!!

  28. Great actor.
