Excellent weekend of boxing!

Actually three really good matchups this weekend.

Friday night on Showtime is Prograis vs Indongo. With always exciting Ivan Baranchyk on the undercard.

Saturday night on Showtime Garcia vs Lipinets. With the Barthelemy-Relikh rematch on the undercard (Relikh was robbed in the first fight).

Also Saturday night, on ESPN, Oscar Valdez vs Scott Quigg.

Prograis indogo is midly interesting,but can't say I really care for the rest (I expect Garcia to blast lipinets)

 

I expect Mikey to blast Lipinets as well, but Lip is the hardest puncher Mikey has faced, and unlike Broner, he'll actually TRY TO WIN. For that reason, I find it interesting.

I'm psyched. Really hope Barthelemy loses. It was not his first gift either.

Valdez/Quigg should be good.

 

Indongo looked like such a big streaming pile of basura against Crawford, that it makes me much less interested in the match

 

Well, Prograis is good... but he's not Crawford good. Therefore, I'm not expecting as easy a blowout.

I do expect Prograis to stop Indongo, but I'm expecting Indongo to be competitive until getting stopped.

If Prograis destroys him, it'll make a statement, because not just any junior welter can destroy Indongo.

I'm gonna say Prograis TKO 9.

 

I think Quigg has a pretty good chance at an upset. Valdez is pretty overrated.

But still, Valdez by decision seems likely.

 

Valdez-Quigg is the one I'm looking forward to the most, and since I have this weekend off, I'll be able to catch all these live, thankfully.

 

Never seen this Limpnuts guy yet. Hopefully Garcia looks good against him.

Ivan Baranchyk on the undercard tonight against Petr Petrov. That should be an action fight. Baranchyk is limited but a fun brawler to watch.

I don't think Easter sees the middle rounds. Fortuna beat him IMO, and Fortuna is pretty scrubby.

Prograis would beat Easter's gay lover AB as well.

 

If Mikey does indeed move back down to 135 after Lipinets, then the best matchup to be made at 140 is Prograis vs Josh Taylor.
