    That was classic.

The funniest thing about Jackson-Graham is that the ref actually bothered counting the full 10, when everybody could see that Graham was sleeping on another planet. That happened a lot back in the day... refs would go through the entire 10 count even when a guy was out cold.

That's the one thing that has improved about boxing refereeing nowadays.... if it's EXTREMELY OBVIOUS that a guy ain't getting up, the ref will immediately wave it off.

In 2018, Jackson-Graham would have been waived off the moment Graham hit the mat.

Foster-Quarry is another example I can think of where a 10 count wasn't necessary.

That's actually a good point. I've never given it much thought, but thinking about it you're right - in old fights you often see a ref counting all the way to 10 when a fighter is out cold, half dead - it's comical actually :D

I believe Bob Foster said something like "I liked Mike, I didn't wanna hurt him. I told him to keep moving but he didn't listen."

i prefer a complete 10 count for every KO. just to be on the safe side that the sleeping fighter wont wake up and rise to his feet

    lol.

I'll give you that one. very clever. It could happen. But I don't see Joshua getting KTFO with one punch.

I could, being honest, and I think Joshua's quality. Wilder is just that hard-hitting.

Eddie Hearn says that Joshua-Wilder is "probably" next after the Parker fight. Let's hope he means it. It's not smart to let a heavyweight fight marinate, because a KO upset loss is ALWAYS possible with these guys.

Make the fight for the fall. It'll be in Vegas. Joshua will rightfully get a higher purse. It'll be a HUGE fight.

Vegas makes more sense because the goal is to make AJ a global superstar, and he isn't yet. He's a megastar in the UK, but in the US, casuals still don't know him.

If he KO's Wilder in Vegas, he's now a US superstar and a UK megastar.

I agree. A fight of this magnitude (because it would be a fight to unify the heavyweight division featuring two undefeated guys with a 99% KO ratio between them) MUST happen in the Mecca of boxing.

Don't underestimate the star power this fight will attract in Vegas, that's also a big factor.

Theres gonna be a shitload of Hollywood and sports A-listers at this fight if it's in Vegas.

You won't see that in London.

Then there would be more A-listers if they held the fight at the Los Angeles Chargers stadium seeing as it's 14 miles south from the Staples Center

I think A listers have enough money to get themselves from LA to Vegas for a fight like this.

Wilder, greatest heavyweight of all time!

I've been with him since the Harrison fight.
