I was tripping with this trailer until a too well known tv personality showed her face. Bad trip.

I stopped watching once it turned into another children's fantasy flick.

Our SJW PC big budgeted movie is in trouble! As expected it had bad awful reviews: 43% at RT and just 30% from audiences. The few good reviews it got just explains how this film was made just to please a minimal portion of the movie going audience. Here is an excerpt from of those scarce positive reviews:

"As a clarion call for young people rising up against the forces of cynicism, corruption and wanton cruelty, "A Wrinkle in Time" feels decidedly of-the-moment, a primer for the little brothers and sisters of the #NeverAgain generation."
    -The Washington Post

All the money Disney earned with Black Panther will be flushed down the toilet with this one, which had written BOMB all over it. Also we can be relieved that director Ava Duvernay rejected 'Black Panther' and choose this film instead. MARVEL almost got a turkey when they were trying to get her to do BP.

Yeah when I first saw the trailer I thought it looked like the plot was all over the place. Kind of reminded me of the Dark Tower trailer.

'A Wrinkle in Time' edged 'Black Panther' by a hair on its Friday debut with $10.2 million vs BP $10 million. However it is expected that BP will still win the weekend with over $40 million while Oprah & friends will land in the second place with $32-$35 million which is not the kind of numbers this film needs to recoup its investment (unless it makes like $200 million internationally...doubtful).

As predicted "A Wrinkle in Time" bombed in its debut with $33.5 million. Internationally it only grossed a lame $6 million. Still the mainstream media spin doctors are trying to make it seen like it is a crowd pleaser:

"...it came in second place to 'Black Panther'!"

“A Wrinkle in Time” accounted and inclusion through their portrayals of strong female and minority characters.

“Audiences respond to seeing themselves on the big screen and it’s good business ” “Representation and inclusion matter.”

This was always going to fail. Women need to stop trying to make a movie with a social message and just focus on a good movie.

On its Friday opening 70% of the audience was female, mostly over the age of 25. Even fans of the book stayed away from it.
