Wow, that is weird. Very weird. Agree with Double, not a good sign. Pacquiao has been with Roach pretty much since the get go, since coming to America. I wonder what kind of falling out they must have had to ditch Roach after all these years? Especially for Pacquiao who seems very loyal - to his detriment like staying with Arum. It has to be said though, Roach seemed fucking useless in the Horn fight. Maybe that is what Manny is annoyed about.
Typically these things are money related. He probably has some Pinoy who will take a flat rate that is considerably less than roachs %
I didn't think of that, it could be that simple I guess. Especially with Manny not exactly commanding the epic moolah he did a few years ago.

To me it looks like a sign of desperation from Manny with a touch of being in denial. He can’t throw hands the way he used to and like most athletes who start getting older he just can’t accept that he’s fading. All a trainer can do for Manny at this point is prepare him for a fight and at most come up with a fight plan. Maybe a new and different camp will energize him a bit but it’s not like he’s going to learn anything new.
Roach has been openly calling for Manny's retirement for some years now. I'm still surprised that Manny has changed trainers, though. But at the same time, there's no major change. Manny is who he is and he's not gonna show us anything he hasn't already showed is before.
