Parker has gone from borderline scrub to potential undisputed heavyweight god.

    This is why Fightbeat rules.

Parker is definitely not a scrub. Time will tell whether he can take Joshua’s punch though. It’s one thing to get hit by guys like old man Botha and hughie fury and quite another to get hit by Joshua

Yeah no doubt. Hopefully he doesn't do a Tua, go into his shell and just plod around getting lit up.

Parker is shite. The reason why is he interesting is that Joshua is also shite. The prognostigator of all time in this thread two weeks ago had Wilder laid out by Ortiz: a man Wilder sent to A&E.

That's why I love this board.

Wilder was almost laid out by Ortiz and was losing the fight. His power is what bailed him out of trouble.

A British boxing analyst by the name of “Hart” once said...

“There are no certainties in sport, least of all boxing, least of all Heavyweight boxing. When those big guys get together ONE PUNCH can turn defeat into victory”.

    That’s what happened.

    Final Predictions?

Parker is LIVE and so nothing would surprise me but if I had to pick, gimme Joshua by TKO 9. I think he busts Parker up and stops him on his feet.

I got Joshua. I think he's better. If Parker's chin holds up, he'll have a chance the longer this goes, though. Joshua's stamina is shit, and his much vaunted 'power' isn't all it is cracked up to be.

The first round will be dull as dishwater, both men having a look. Joshua will open up with some of those 1-2's he mainly throws, and try to pick Parker off at length. Parker will look pretty small compared to AJ, so I'd imagine the plan is to pin him back with the jab and throw lots of straight rights to keep him honest. Presuming he doesn't fold, I'd expect him to start gambling around seven or eight, throwing caution to the wind as Joshua's muscles rob him of oxygen as usual. The question will be whether he is good enough to do anything when that happens. He might be, but he probably isn't.

If Joshua stops him early, I'll be impressed. I think it ends late, most likely Joshua by accumulation stoppage around the 10th.

Not really. I'm interested in Joshua-Wilder, but quite honestly, IDGAF about Joshua-Parker.

Don't get me wrong, I'm definitely gonna watch it, but can't say I'm super pumped for it.

The next fight I'm looking forward to is Lara-Hurd.

Yeah I don't see an early stoppage either. AJ isn't that kind of puncher.

At best, I see him getting Parker outta there in the mid rounds. But if Parker holds up under the power, yeah he has a chance to do something late.

I think AJ's height/range, jab, and right hands will eventually fold Parker, whom just gets hit too much to win this IMO. I watched highlights of Parker's fight with Hughie Fury and I wasn't sold. He has some nice hand speed but little else. His defense is bad, and the decision was questionable according to those who saw the whole fight.

AJ KO 10 sounds about right.

I see Joshua UD - Parker will get hit a few too many times, go into his shell, plod around and fight ugly to the end.

    Very plausible scenario.

I actually think Joshua is a little scared and that'll work in his favour. I feel that Parker will be meeting a peak Joshua in this one.

For the Last Week or So, REED's Tried Wrapping his Mind Around HOW Parker Wins This...But Fact is, Dude DOESN'T Pass the Ol' Eye-Ball Test...

Considering he's Boxed Since he was 3 or 4, You'd Expect a More POLISHED Style...Parker Has Good Heavvyweight Handspeed and a Sneaky Pull Counter Right Over Lazy Left Jabs (Decent Uppercut Too), but he's Wiiiiiiide as Hell When he Throws Combinations...

And his Defense is BELOW Average...REED Can't Fathom a Subpar Defensive Fighter BEATING Joshua...

Joshua Will Have to Pass 2-3 Chin Checks, but REED Doesn't Think his Beard is Quite as Vulnerable as Advertised....Dillian Whyte (The Same Dude who Dropped Him as an Ammy) Rocked Him w/a Temple Shot and Wlad Caught Him w/1 of the 5 BEST Right Hands he's Ever Landed...

REED Doesn't Think that's EVIDENCE of a Weak Chin, However...Not Enough, Anyways...

Joshua Wins by Late Stoppage...Kevin Barry May Even Be Forced to Throw in the Towel...Parker Will Be Irrevocably Behind on Points and Will have Sustained a Hearty Beating by the 9th-10th...

Not Only is Parker Getting STOPPED Prior to the Final Bell, REED Thinks Joshua Drops him 1nce or 2wice in the Process...

    Parker's a bum.

There, I just simplified REED's post into three words.

    .....and back to borderline scrub.

I must admit though, I'm more on "Team Scrub" than "Team Heavyweight Boxing God" when it comes to Parker. He's just a bit too average to beat a Joshua guy.

Joshua wins. This could be a bloody war if Parker fights the way he likes to, but I think his team have a game plan in mind which will be to box and move. Hopefully that doesn't happen and we get a war lasting some rounds.

Joshua is just bigger. stronger, more powerful and better.

That's what they've said publicly - that Parker is some master boxer and will twinkle-toes his way to victory using "angles".

Sounds like a recipe for plodsville - I want him to get in there, get in close and throw.

parker's only chance of victory is to force AJ at a high pace and war and hope he can take Joshua's punches and hope AJ burns out. If Parker tries to box, AJ would win easily.

Parker's only shot is if Joshua gets knackered. He does seem tough though so it's not outside the realm of possibility.
