Saw this saw night. Do NOT watch this movie if you're easily disturbed. If you're not easily disturbed, watch it.

Could you give us a review, maybe tell us what it’s about?

I watched this a few days ago. Not a feel good movie. It’s based on Iphigenia from Greek mythology.

IMDB describes the plot as follows:

It has a decent amount of dark, deadpan humor with some real “WTF?!” quotes. The acting was solid, I was very impressed with Barry keoghan who plays the kid.

That plot description sounds 'meh!'. Not even curious about it. If I want to watch the Iphigenia tale then I'll re-watch the awesome 1977 film.

There’s a scene with a 14 year old girl in her bra and panties which I’m sure you would enjoy.

Did you like watching Keira Knight do nude scenes and sex scenes in The Hole? She was 15.

I’ve never seen it either, just bits and pieces.

Not sure what to think on this one. Sticks with you for a bit, which is good, but lacks any sort of exposition or explanation until you realize it's all mostly metaphorical. I wouldn't call it "disturbing" as X does at the beginning of this thread, but it's certainly unnerving if you stick it out. Cinematography and Soundtrack score is top notch, but I kind of wish I knew going into it that this was an allegory about supposed Gods and Mortals, and I might not have been looking for certain things and character behaviors to make logical, grounded in reality sense.

Yorgos Lanthimos directed and wrote this and also did “The Lobster”

    Strange movies.
