Granted, it’s Admirable a Man THAT Size Moves Like he Does, But What We’ve Learned is the LAST Thing Boxing Fans, Media, Promoters, Judges, etc., Want is Jumbo Sized Men Fighting NEGATIVELY...The Bigger Guy Should FIGHT Like the Bigger Guy...

Wlad’s Legacy Has Rightfully Taken Hits For His Propensity to Fight Negative and Fury Possesses Considerably LESS Offensive Wherewithal Than Wlad Did...

He’s ONLY a Player in the Heavyweight Landscape Because of LINEAGE, and it’s Gonna Take More Than Ring IQ and Footwork to Defeat the Likes of Joshua or Wilder...

And While REED Looooooooooves Fury Interviews, Dude Needs LESS FaceTime, Until the Day He’s SIGNED to Face an Actual Opponent...

    Lol such bullshit.

Go look at the mccline fight and come tell me young wlad was a punching machine when he was young, with a straight face.

Anytime he faced someone that he felt was dangerous, he turned into a gigantic pussy

Corrie Sanders and Gerrie Coetzee were very good fighters and Frans Botha was just a competent if underwhelming trier.

If Botha had a bit of management he could have done a lot better for himself. As it is he turned in decent efforts against just about every name fighter he ever fought and he fought a lot of good heavyweights, Lewis, Wlad, Moorer, Briggs, Tyson and Schulz.

Botha did fuck all against Lewis. He did very well against Tyson though, it kinda gets forgotten that he was basically whitewashing Mike on the scorecards until that shot.

Maybe you're right. I just keep thinking of the Mercer fight where he threw everything at the old man whereas the older Wlad would clinch him to a ud

Yeah, Lennox swiped Botha away like a bug, there was nothing to celebrate with Botha's performance there.

Otherwise I agree with Irish that he usually gave a good account of himself. I don't see how any promotion would have helped him though: he got all the chances, his level as a fighter wasn't enough for more success

I don't think it gets forgotten. Yeah, Botha easily won the first 4 rounds against Mike. Not saying much though. Mike was coming off a damn 2-year layoff, and was washed up as it is.
