Honestly, I can't even get through 10 seconds of listening to Wilder. He's UNBEARABLE.

Really hoping AJ does everyone a favor and embarasses this guy.

  6. He has terrible grammar. He uses the word “do” instead of “does” or “done”for example. I have no tolerance for uneducated Ebonics speaking ghetto motherfuckers.

Your boy Floyd isn’t the most eloquent speaker with the best grammar either.

Although I laughed when I read his dad’s grammar when he talked about Gatti’a chances of being a HOFer.

“Gatti should be in the Hall of Fame for getting his ass tore up. Getting got the **** whooped out of him, that's what he should be in the Hall of Fame for.”

  8. Sure, but when have I ever defended Floyd’s grammar or anything about him outside of the ring? I only defend his professional boxing achievements and fighting abilities, but as a personality he sucks.

Yeah Wilder may not be you guy’s cup of tea but what did y’all think of what he had to say about AJ being scared of him and all the politics keeping that fight from happening?

Meh. Tyson was saying the same shit. It's tasteless but fuck it, it's the fight game.

Just another reason to hate the BBC. They keep employing them, Especially white ones.

Big difference. Tyson earned the right to talk however the hell he wants. Beyoncé hasn’t earned shit yet, and it is very irritating.

In light of the tragedies that have occurred in boxing from 1986 to 2018............Wilder should be saying fuck all.

Tyson never literally said he hoped to kill his opponent.

Especially not prime Tyson, who was actually pretty damn respectful towards his opponents.

That was the Ruddock fight. As I was about to say, Mike changed after the Douglas fight. He started talking more shit in an attempt to intimidate guys. Probably because deep down, his confidence had decreased.

He never really bad mouthed his opponents in the 80s. All he really said was stuff like "I'm the best fighter in the world. No one can touch me."

I don't disagree with that, all I'm saying is there wasn't a massive furore about it despite it being just as tasteless.

He said “if he’s not dead it doesn’t count” before the first Ruddock fight, and the “I’m gonna make you my girlfriend..kiss me good with those big lips” before the rematch.

He may have also made death threats to Biggs, I don’t know, but his well known comments regarding Biggs was that he screamed like a woman. Oh and a pre-title Tyson said he was trying to push Ferguson’s nose into his brain.

Nah, it was the Ruddock fight.

The Biggs fight is when he told Merchant in the post-fight interview that Biggs was crying like a girl from the body shots.

Guys like Wilder rarely kill fighters anyway. We all know by now that it's not clean KOs that cause ring deaths, it's sustained beatings.

That was a completely different time then it is today. A famous guy like Wilder could make a Twitter post about giving his dog a bath and people will find reasons to bitch about it. I’m pretty sure he’s going to get some heat for what he said, even if it’s heat he’ll mostly feel in his mentions.

  29. Disagree completely. In boxing fatalities can and do happen. It’s a dangerous sport. What if wilder actually killed someone in the ring...then what? His words would come back to haunt both him and all of boxing. Very irresponsible thing to say.

  30. The key difference between what Wilder said and what Tyson had said previously (and it was still not good when Tyson said it) is that Tyson said it of the fighter that he was facing at the time and in both cases there was a lot of smack talk. Wilder however made a blanket statement about hoping to have killed at least one fighter by the time his career is over. That’s a very bad statement to make and if y’all can’t see that then God help you.
