I just performed a styles analysis on Joshua vs Parker

Joshua got such glaring weaknesses: almost zero head movement; & often throws his right hand like he’s only been going to a boxing gym for a few months

Why can’t he learn how to do these things properly? & how long until someone takes advantage of these weaknesses & beats him easily? With that head of his that never moves, then - if he beats Parker - you have to think that wilder is gonna land his explosive right at some point

 

I loved that Waugh era team, Warne, McGrath, Gilchrist, Mark Waugh (brilliant)...they had epic battles with India in India...never a fan of Ponting or what followed

Was planning on watching Joshua-Parker live, but looks like I have run out shortly with the family (my fuckin in-laws). I guess I'll just have to DVR it... if I was REALLY looking forward to this, I might start an argument... but like I've been saying... it's not a hugely anticipated fight for me.

I expect Joshua to stop this palooka.

Price gassed again and Povetkin brutally KO'd him

Povetkin is useless without roids but then again, useless beats Price

 

Price didn't really gas and he didn't nearly have Povetkin out. He landed a good shot that hurt Povetkin but the lack of balance made it look worse than it was. As usual Mssrs Smith and Froch overstating the case.

Price definitely did tire of course but Povetkins bodywork had something to do with that.

I tell you........Povetkins short left hook is kryptonite to a wide shotter like Joshua.

 

Price only has physical tools. He could conceivably blow out any man he could hit but he's got no sense of range or timing and is too tight and nervy.

 

He fought like he was scared of totally gassing himself

It looks like the roids came back to him when he one-punch KO'd Price

 

Povetkin looked like he always does. Lathered in sweat, bruised up, blowing like a Blue Whale diving for Pearls........but he's got solid fundamentals, is tough and has power.

 

No, no he won't........at least not without severely discomfiting either man first.

 

Like I said, Povetkin is just the man. Povetkin doesn't go over for fun, and has that short compact left hook. He's brave enough and good enough to get into range and uncork it. If Joshua ever fights him, he better get Povetkin out of there early doors because AP will check his chin, no question.
