Since he upped his opposition, aj has looked terrible. It seems that the guy is nothing more than a glorified can opener

Thought AJ could have showed more grit tonight. He seemed reluctant to take any serious chances.

They are not even remotely the same sort of opponent for Joshua.

Joshua struggles with the man who is a bit shorter, has fast hands and compact shots and enough ruggedness and bravery to stand in and let the short shots go between AJ's shots.

Joshua was clocked at least 3 times while trying his own shitty combos and every time he broke off the engagement and on one occasion was actually chased around the ring,.

Still think he'd beat Wilder, though.

    Wilder really is terrible.

He knew he had a slower wider turning circle than Parker and was terrified of being clocked in the middle of letting his own hands go. Parker showed anticipation and shiftiness and it scared the shit out of Joshua.

No he didn't . He fought well and if he had Tuas power he'd had laid Joshua out.

Agreed. He hasn't been exposed but he's been placed into a much better light than before and I can guarantee that as gullible as the Great British Boxing public is.......Joshuas days doing 80,000 fans in Stadia is over for now.

Good call. I think he would cos he would keep Bird in his Eggshell  for long enough to win the rounds.

Holyfield, Bowe and Tyson would all ice Joshua in very very short order.

Don’t know about you guys, but I find Joshua quite irritating.

His local London homeboy act seems a little overdone and unnatural.

I actually hope Wilder khtfo (habzhhahahhaha).

Now let's bring on a REAL quality unification fight next week... between two talented guys, not a fraud and a scrub.

AJ was shit. Shit fight. Shit ref. He showed a lot of flaws tonight and I think Wilder will land a big right hand at some stage and take him out.

Saying that, I think there's a tendency to go wayyyyyy overboard after a good or bad performance on here.

Frustrating night for AJ. He hardly landed any flush right hands and that's where you credit Parker. He's awkward.

I'm not gonna go overboard and say Wilder definitely wins. It's still 50-50. Both guys are limited and can punch.

    Im with you.

Overall, AJ won despite not looking spectacular. He did clearly beat Parker.

A fight with AJ and Wilder will be big. Both guys are vulnerable. Make the fight as soon as possible. No point in risking either or getting KO'd.

I grew up in South London so yeah I agree, it’s not that he acts like that that annoys me, but “act” is the key word.

He just doesn’t seem very natural and genuine to me, do you see it too?

    Yup.

Lennox Lewis was worse though...in that he went out of his way to act like some kinda Jamaican rude boy with "Big up this and Big up that"...and growing dreadlocks in his 30s. Idiotic motherfucker.

Joshua goes 12 rounds for the first time, wins easily, doesn't give Parker a chance to get lucky.

Every one of these past monsters you guys are performing fellatio on had similar performances against worse opposition.

Lennox Lewis could fight. Which is more than can be said for AJ.

mikE makes a good point: Bowe looked mediocre against old fat Tubbs, Lewis looked Terrible against Bruno, Mavrorik and a host of other fighters, Holyfield struggled with Bert Cooper, Foreman looked awful against Lyle and Young.

Too early to say Joshua is a bum...let';s see how he looks against Wilder and Fury first.
