Ben Hur had the more relevant Crucifixion.

 

Both are overrated. Old movied are shit.

 

This is the battle of the heavyweights.

Good matchup.
Both epic movies on a scale never repeated since.

Impossible to pick a winner for me.

 

Both a fuck of a lot better than Gladiator.

Rainfaker, there's not a movie expert alive who DOESN'T consider Ben Hur and Spartacus to be among the greatest epics ever. You're the only idiot who thinks otherwise.

Personally, I prefer El Cid to both, but that's a different topic.

I prefer Spartacus......I like everything Spartacus...even the Starz series....I LOVE em..watch both multiple times over...

 

Ben Hur IMO. I wouldn't even rule out Ben Hur as the GOAT of all movies.
