Pulp Fiction has a case for being the movie of the 90s. No single film has had such a huge influence for better and worse since. Enjoyed reservoir dogs but pulp fiction was something else, so different to everything else in mainstream at time.

Pulp Fiction, that’s the best tarantino movie IMO. If we’re including movies he just wrote, #2 to me is True Romance. It’s probably better that he didn’t direct it.

I actually prefer RD. I watch it regularly and see more and more with each viewing. I probably agree that PF is a 'better' film and will have more of a historical importance than Reservoir Dogs, but I pick the latter. For the record, I really like both.

I agree. I don't give a shit that PF is more historically significant, I think RD is the better movie.

Controversial, but I think Jackie Brown is better than PF as well.

Jackie Brown was one of the shittiest films I've seen

    Tarantino is crap

Out of these two, I'll take Pulp Fiction because Sam Jackson was so entertaining

Tarantino the man is an irritating spazzy little cunt. Tarantino the director is (or was) brilliant though, and far from "crap". Lol come on.

To answer the question, it's Pulp Fiction.

Pulp Fiction is a great film. Reservoir Dogs doesn't even register in my top 50 films to be honest. I still think it was a rip-off of a 1971 tv movie, 'The Day of the Wolves".

    "Pulp Fiction" easily.

I really like "Reservoir Dogs", but it simply just comes across as the practice movie that Tarantino made in order to get him to the next level so he can make a "Pulp Fiction"

Similar to "Lock, Stock...." and "Snatch" for Guy Ritchie.

Pulp definitely. And I was a big fan of Jackie Brown but no way was it better than Pulp Fiction either.

The interesting thing about Pulp Fiction (besides its nonlinear plot, characters and dialogue) is its total lack of morality. There were no good guys and no bad guys. No right and wrong.

I actually prefer Pulp Fiction more now than when I frst saw it the week it was released...back then I was more of a Reservoir Dogs fan.
For a guy who has only directed 9 movies since 1992, his output is pretty good...albeit patchy.

I´m fascinated to see how he tackles the Tate/Manson Murders in Once Upon A Time in Hollywood.

I've seen every Tarantino movie except Hateful Eight.

I tried twice... seems like a well crafted movie, just a really slow burn.

tarantino is probably the only director for whom i've seen every movie. try to catch all scorsese movies, coen movies, woody allen, but there are 1 or 2 i haven't seen.

reservoir dogs & pulp fiction had such an impact, were so era-definiing, that it feels like tarantino is the director of our generation - even with how frustrating his movies have been since Kill Bill
