Sly's used up his full list of tall heavyweights from B.F. (Before Floyd)

If Joshua and Wilder fight later this year, what do we have to really look forward to after that in the heavyweight division? I mean Fury may well come back and add excitement and spice things up with AJ and Wilder, but bar those guys, there's not much else around. Whyte adds a degree of intrigue to the division, but not a great deal. This Daniel Dubois kid is still so young and way off challenging for major honours, but he doesn't really look all that. Time will tell I guess.

The division really does need Fury to come back how he was in 2015. We'll get to see him in against Joshua and Wilder, even if one of them loses when they fight. Too much money to be made for them and their handlers and a great deal of entertainment with the pre-fight build up and fights themselves (hopefully) for the fans.

I think Fury is done. I sincerly doubt he fights again, and even if he does, he probably wasted his prime in a cokefest. I suppose this big baby character is a bit intriguing, but he looked really really average

If Joshua isn't going to face Wilder or Povetkin next then I'd like to see him go across the pond and take on Miller. Would be entertaining to see.

Anyone who picks Frazier over AJ doesn't know boxing, or else they have had their analytical brain function suppressed while nostalgia bends them over and drills them in the ass.

You're right. It takes an true boxing genius to foresee Joshua-Parker resembling Hagler-Hearns.

I was analyzing how a prime-for-prime matchup between James Kirkland and Ricardo Mayorga would have gone down - I envision it would have been a highly tactical and cerebral chessmatch, similar to Leonard-Benitez.

Cory Spinks vs Ishe Smith sounds like a form of cruel and unusual capital punishment - far more inhumane than lethal injection.

It was the most awful match I could think of ... maybe Spadafora vs Lou Bizzarro is worse

To be fair...Parker is usually more aggressive and he acted in the build up like he was going to go after Joshua and test his chin. He fought like a pussy on the night and was the main reason for the lack of drama. Of course the Referee didn't help with his incessant separating of the fighters whenever they go into a slight skirmish.

He had Ortiz laying down the big beating to Wilder, too. So far as HW boxing is concerned, Sly's opinion is proving to be consistently wrong.

    Regardless.....

Tiny one (short ) arm Frazier is getting beat all over the ring by Joshua. Simple.

Didn’t you pick Hatton to beat down mayweather and stop him? That’s a FAR worse pick my friend. Since when were those in glass houses in a position to throw stones?(wink)

If we go back in history, this clown once said Mamadou Thiam could beat Mosley. Nothing tops that.

Go find the post where I predicted that. You bring it up a lot - go look for it.

That fight was a decade ago. In the last month, two big HW fights have taken place and you got one very wrong and in another, you predicted an all-out war in the first round which turned into a five punch jab-fest.

    Hopeless.

He also predicted Canelo to convincingly beat Golov, and what's sad is, he refuses to concede he was wrong... claiming he agrees with the corrupt draw.

    Retire, Stafford.

I don't need to look for it, Feebs me olde son. You know you're guilty. lol

Yeah I was wrong. I admit that. Wilder's right hand foiled my otherwise accurate prediction...I just felt that Ortiz had a good enough chin to withstand the bomb squad. However, most here were predicting a Wilder domination of an old slow man in an early KO. The fight was far from that and those who predicted that were less on the money than I was even though they got the right end result.

As for Joshua vs Parker being a war...what can I say....I was more wrong than wrong is wrong when wrong is wrong! lol

    Ok buddy.

So from this post I have to assume that you’re telling me that no fighter in the history of boxing has never looked washed up or on the severe decline and then comeback looking better than ever. Not Holyfield against Tyson....not anyone.
