Most overrated of the movie "greats"

Has to be a film that's considered a cinematic great, so Avatar wouldn't apply because no one considers it great.

Cdogg will say Apocalypse Now, since it's universally considered a classic.

I'm gonna say by far... Halloween. It's considered one of the greatest horror films ever, but I've long maintained that it's a piece of shit, and a poor rip off of Black Christmas.

Halloween is the most overrated movie of all time imo.

Another... Good Will Hunting. Liked it when I was young, but mannnn... it's God awful now. Robin Williams' performance is its ONLY redeeming quality.

1. Huh??? Psycho is considered the BIRTH of the slasher film genre. It remains far and away the best.

2. Who doesn't? Most people consider Halloween a horror great, and most people consider it John Carpenter's best film. Even though it can't carry The Thing's spit bucket.
