Guys like Broner and Tank are the sort of guys that are in it for the fame and celebrity status, much moreso than being great fighters.

It's no surprise they're not dedicated or disciplined.

 

I like Gervonta quite a bit. He's noticeably better than Broner, in my estimation. Loma figures to beat him, but Gervonta wouldn't have lost to Salido.

22 year olds are still growing. I doubt his weight troubles are due to anything other than the physical difficulties of being a weight class you are too big for.

There's ZERO proof that Gervonta is better than Broner.

 

Yeah I'm not so sure I see anything in Gervonta that suggests ELITE level.

He beat Pedraza who had arguably lost to Edner Cherry not that long ago, and in every performance I saw him in, never really made an impression on me or anything. Just a slightly above average fighter who won a belt in a weak division. Gervonta beating him in my eyes doesn't suggest a world class level talent.

I think Floyd is just looking to make whatever money he can off him by throwing him in there with Lomachenko, and basically cut ties.

Davis is basically another Broner, but he may not even be as good as him.

 

Davis is quite a bit better than Broner imo. Davis hasn't got the best resume and he's looked bad in a few fights but there's never been a point thus far where I thought he was going to lose, Broner was scraping decisions against flotsam at the same point in his career.

 

This is pure speculation.

 

Broner looked better against DeMarco than Davis has looked in any fight thus far.

Tank would put up a decent fight IMO. He’s southpaw and quite aggressive and that combination may win him a few rounds.
