I think this is a mismatch, but wanted to see if anyone thought it wasn't a mismatch.

The Jew-hater is a more believable action hero to me so I'll say Lethal Weapon

Your Willis hate aside, there's no objective way to say that Lethal Weapon is better.

Die Hard is plain and simple a far superior film, and most importantly, hasn't aged a bit.

Lethal Weapon feels dated as Hell.

LOL both films are ludicrously unrealistic action fantasies from the 80s ... hard to fathom how "aging" means anything in either case

Willis is pretty much awful but I enjoyed die hard ... I just don't see it as some masterpiece

Die hard. Actually watched it fairly recently and was surprised how well it has aged.

It wasn't a mainstream smash, but End of Watch was a quality buddy cop movie, and better than Lethal Weapon.

Exactly. Die Hard feels like a modern action movie, only BETTER than any modern action movie.

Lethal Weapon feels like exactly what it is... an 80s action flick.

What really pushes Die Hard far above Lethal Weapon is the ASTRONOMICAL gap in villain quality.

You can't compare that fuckin weirdo Gary Busey to Alan Rickman. Hans Gruber is an iconic villain in movie history. Nobody remembers Busey's role in Lethal Weapon.

I don't think there's any big gap between these films at all

I like them both. Die Hard is probably better, but not by much. I rewatch both fairly often.

Lethal Weapon is an iconic 80’s action film. Die Hard is one of the greatest action films ever an it was made in the 80’s.

I’d say The Professional is better than Lethal Weapon.
