Star Wars: The Last Jedi - Trailer/Discussion

The problem wasn't the main character being a female, but that the whole darn film felt so FORCED pushing PC bullshit that never had a place in Star Wars. Was this Star Trek, no one would complain as that franchise has always embraced PC. And the fact that the Lucasfilm CEO Kathleen Kennedy openly admits is pushing an agenda makes it even worst.

 

Poor Panchy, it’s a space movie and he’s bitching about too many aliens and not enough white people .


Seriously though, why do you care so much? You got a lot in common with racists in the way you seem to allow such minute things get you so upset. Just watch the film and judge it on being good or bad. This is just like having to hear people bitch about affirmative action.

 

And its only a shitty CGI science-fiction movie.

I think the real problem lies with men over 40 who grew up with Star Wars and still see it as a favourite 'sacred cow'....which is a bit sad.

 

You are irremediably hopeless.

They should’ve resolved the predicament the resistance was in with an explosion and a space chase in the first 20 minutes to set up where they’d be in the next movie and give Rey, Luke and Kylo more time. But that’s how they started it and the payoff is what seems like hours and hours of boring, forgettable dialogue with purple hair and Leia’s treasure troll face.

Finn and Poe, the established and well received characters from the last movie, should’ve been the action/comedy duo sent off on a mission. The fat faced Asian bitch would’ve worked as a third wheel, and she would’ve made sense as the level headed nerdy techie along with the rogue soldier and brash hotshot pilot.

For me it was really these two fundamentally horrible decisions that completely fucked up the movie more than the little nerdy criticisms of the Luke/Rey/Kylo story.

 

In my posts I pointed out how much time was wasted on boring unfunny fatso Rose instead of developing a more decent storyline for Luke & Rey. An unforgivable bad decision.

 

If she was moral and technical support for Poe and Finn she’d have less screen time and more purpose and might’ve actually been a likable character. It was really odd they gave a brand new nothing character such a big role.

 

She definitely wasn't eye candy. Useless character. In fact, it was a useless movie. Nothing memorable at all except things in a bad way.

 

Yup, absolutely awful film. Worse that even the George Lucas prequels.

 

The chubby, ugly Asian bitch is the sort that cdogg187 would open the door for, and upon the off-chance that she smiles at him in return....he´d think he´s got a shot at it.

 

There should have been a sex scene between Finn and Rey. Now we will see a sex scene between Finn and the fat Chinese woman.

 

It's acceptable for a black man to kiss up a Fat Chinese woman in Hollywood it seems...but the slim white girl is off limits.

She was the token 'full figured, minority, independent strong female' the PC crowd (critics) loves so much. She was the movie's 'real woman' that 'normal girls can identify with'.

I mean I can still watch the original Star Wanks and think "yeah, pretty good action movie, memorable sounds / visuals / quotes and a nostalgic trip" but the rest of the franchise can fuck off.







And I hope it's fans die.

 

I watched this last night at home for the first time.
For me, it´s not that it ruined a franchise as such or is so far removed from any other Star Wars movie in terms of plot or anything or is full of females/SJWs/diversity-minority types.....it just isn´t a very good movie.
The script was average, the acting....was piss-poor.
The only good thing about it was the visuals.

Otherwise, it was pretty dull but nothing to make me switch off or anything.
