I watched a few episodes of the Flash when it came out and lost interest very quickly.

I got as far as episode 4 as far as 'interest' goes but watched season one throughout.
It's okay, watchable at best, but nothing to write home about yet weirdly, Joe King has it down almost as his sole reason for existing...

Its a typical CW lite comicbook show aimed at teens. Not much to see in any of their shows if you are older than 18.

For some reason, I always think Joe King is like 20-25 years old??

Steven Spielberg will be developing his first DC 'superhero film' ...not Superman, not Batman, not Green Lantern...he will direct a film based on the world war II comicbook 'Blackhawk'. Hmm...about LADY BLACKHAWK instead who is a tiny bit more popular?

This will not be the first time this comicbook will be adapted for the big screen. Former Superman actor Kirk Alyn played the character in the 40s.

The Flash is a great show. I've been a fan since the 1990 version. As far as comics go, the series does a lot of stuff. It's not perfect and I have some issues with it here and there but it's done very well.

I haven't watched the show but The Flash character as a whole seems severely overpowered. I mean his speed is bad enough....but I hear that they've added the ability to travel back in time and some infinite mass punch thing. I mean.....

    Box office Prediction:

I think that "The Avengers: Infinity War'" has a chance to get close or beat the opening numbers of 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' of $250 million. It will definitely beat 'Star Wars: the Last Jedi' $220 million opening (second best of all time). If it opens less than "Last Jedi" then we can surely say that superhero fatigue is taking over, BUT...the great numbers 'Black Panther' had tells me it is the opposite.

I don´t agree they´re for fags - but the over-adulation and importance put on them is vastly disproportionate to what they are in terms of film-making.
There´s not a lot of thought that goes into them, or acting ability or too much in the way of plot - but a whole TON of US dollars.
The best thing about the Marvel movies is the cross-polination that has characters appearing in various movies that aren´t about them.

And to date, only a handful are worth a re-watch:
    Iron-Man
    The Avengers
    Captain America: The Winter Soldier
    Guardians of the Galaxy

Kevin Feige has successfully repeated the Marvel comics formula to the big screen. That was one of the advantages that Marvel comics had over DC comics during the 60s silver age: the crossover stories where all these characters were part of the same universe versus DC self-contained, one-shot stories. I mean in one month The Avengers were searching for Hulk who had gone berserk. In the same month Spider-Man issue he casually stumbles on Thor who is searching for Hulk. In Daredevil issue Matt Murdock reads the newspaper (The Daily Bugle from Spider-Man) about Hulk going AWOL. Doctor Strange issue features a sub-plot were he meets Dr. Banner, but doesn't recognize him. The Fantastic Four issue Doctor Doom reveals he created a device that caused Hulk to go on a rampage, etc. Meanwhile in DC Superman caught a mortal virus and is send in a rocket ship to die in space. In Green lantern monsters from space are destroying most of earth cities and Green Lantern is the only superhero to save earth. In that same month issue of Justice League Superman is alive, and well and ZERO mention that he was dying nor there is mention of the monster invasion of earth from Green Lantern. Even as a child I could recognize that Marvel made more sense (and was a better reading experience) than DC silly one-shot tales.

I liked Captain Marvel when it was a man. Lost interest when they made the character into a female and gave her more powers than Superman.

You need to stop being misogynist and embrace gender equality, inclusiveness and diversity.
