That mane of shaggy, black hair bouncing arounf as punch after punch goes in....hard.

However, I don´t agree that MMA or any of its various components isn´t used in street-fights.....Ive seen a few fights where some guy (usually sober) actually will use kicks and rush to get the guy onto the ground.
When that happens, its all ovaaaahhhhhhh....

 

Yeah the glossy mane of black hair bouncing around like a puppy is a big part of Duran's appeal as he's dishing out a vicious beating, the contrast complements it perfectly.

Maybe what you describe is common in Brazil, where everyone and his aunt trains MMA or BJJ at least, but it's not something I've seen tbh, in real life or youtoobs.

What I have seen though is boxers lay people out cold with single shots

 

That´s because standing-up and punching is 2nd nature to a person: who wants to try the risk of kicking or grappling when they have almost next-to-no idea of how to do it...from childhood, using your arms and fists is pretty automatic.
