I was watching “Creed” the other day and there was a point in the fight where Michael B Jordan’s character was knocked OUT but then “woke up “ around the count of 7 and got up. Now I’m the film he didn’t go on to win but it was a “miraculous “ getting up off the canvas and he went on to finish the fight strong. So that’s what inspired this thread. That was Hollywood of course but when in real life did a fighter look to be OUT but somehow woke up again to win or finish the fight strong? When did a fighter rise after a hard knockdown when you thought that must surely be the end...and go on to either win or finish strong? Holmes against Shavers springs to mind but I’m sure there are better examples. Actually One of the Foreman knockdowns at the hand of Lyle was as hard a knockdown as you can see and somehow Foreman got up. Still I’m looking for one in which the guy looked to be out. Best examples?
Not the stuff of legends but the last kd Julio Gonzalez suffered vs Mr. Ko was pretty brutal and it really looked like he was out KD at 5:35 of the video
How could I forgot, Edwin Rodriguez went down like he was shot vs Seals. Still, he never looked completely unconscious so it's not a perfect example. (kd a 4:55, don't know why the fucking video won't start at the time I specified before embedding it)
