    Thoughts?

  2. My initial thoughts are "Why did you put a conjugation of the verb 'Like' " in the thread title???

You mean, you thought I was saying that I was similar to Jackson?

    You don't like him?

I don't like really any of that 70s El Lay shit except for a few Joni Mitchell tracks... I just find it odd that you'd like him... he's like a cartoon of someone you'd rage about on here

I just like his music. The guy wrote These Days when he was like 12 years old. Couldn't care less about his politics.

But his politics are crucial to his songs

Which songs? Running on empty? Barricades of heaven? These days?

  10. No, because that would require the use if the verb to Be, it's present simple conjugation and the new title of 'I am like Jackson Browne'
(actually, I've always felt the use of 'Like' in this context to be grammatically incorrect but we can discuss that elsewhere)

Why put 'I like' in a thread title?
Just call it 'Jackson Browne'. People will understand and will discuss accordingly.
No-one gives a flying fuck whether you like his music or not.
