If I walked downstairs as a youth and saw my dad's brains blown all over the door, I'd probably need to turn to the bottle also. I had always heard he was an alchy, but never knew why.
The best boxing announcer, imo. Didn't realize he had suffered permanent damage from the car accident I can barely remember happening. Far worse places to be. He has a job and apparently pays for himself. That's dignified. I'd rather see him announcing fights, though. Alcohol is a needy mistress.
