seems to have a good chin (even tought I think the latino stunned him a bit in the first). He has tighten his defense a bit, and now looks much better. I like Prograis, hard hitting and aggresive guy, but I don't think he's a future p4p fighter. He's a bit too slow and plodding for that

Rougarou sure ain't Whitaker in there, so I'm not surprised he got tagged a bit.

 

Prograis definitely can't beat Crawford.

 

agreed. I'm not nearly as high on TC than most, but he's clealy a class or two ahead of Prograis

Spence is the only one from 140-147 who beats Crawford.

Prograis is a quality fighter. Nobody ever said he was a prime Duran, but he's a tough, good fighter.

 

I'd put money on Thurman to beat him also, but let's not start this argument again

The question in this thread should be who wins between Prograis and Taylor.

 

Teofimo Lopez has a lot of physical talent, but he needs to stop acting like Roy. He got hit a bit too much for my liking, even though he destroyed that bum. He still needs more polish.

Haney's a better prospect right now. But the talent is definitely there with Lopez.

 

I didn't know until tonight that Prograis is managed by Irish Terry Conklin.

I'm aware of his real name. He's a mediocre director who puts out a heap of overrated movies.

I'll just always know him as Terry Conklin. And I respect the fact that he's obviously a huge boxing fan.

 

i consider lopez a better prospect than haney

 

Lopez claims he dominated Haney in sparring.

 

i like haneys skillset and tools but lopez has more dynamic talent and power

 

Lopez definitely has more power. Both have fast hands, have to say who has a clear edge in that regard... but probably Lopez.

Haney has quicker feet and looks to me to have faster defensive reflexes.

I have no definitive answer right now on who is gonna be better, since both are still babies and neither is a finished product yet.

My hunch tells me that Haney is gonna be better. I just get more of an "it" vibe from Haney.
