Bennie Briscoe vs Iran Barkley @ middleweight

I'll go out on a limb and say this wouldn't be a chessmatch...

I'd favor Briscoe.

 

Same. This would be fun for as long as it lasts.

 

Briscoe by knockout for sure ... I think it borders on one-sided... Briscoe had trouble with movers but if you traded with him, he'd generally fuck you up

 

Barkley was a big middleweight so that might prolong it just a bit but once Briscoe finds his range it gets ugly.

 

UNLESS... your name was Rodrigo Valdez.

 

Of course but Valdez was a great fighter... he would've killed Barkley

 

Goddamn shame Valdez isn't in the HOF.

 

Iran Barkely was 22-4 when he beat Thomas Hearns. He was 25-7 six fights later.
Old-school ´Bad´ Bennie Briscoe would win this - Barkley is no Monzon or Valdéz - more like Charley ´Bad News´ Austin.
