Basically handed them an away goal... could prove disastrous

    Yes! Needed that

Makes the away leg a lot simpler to play tactically

It should be about 6-1 with the amount of woodwork Celtic have hit

    3-1 final

They play 1/3 that well in Norway and they'll be through to 3rd qualifying round easy

3-1's a weird one though mate. It's like "3-1, sounds like a decent lead but if we get that first goal we're in the driver's seat." - both teams will be thinking that. The question is, do Celtic go for it? Or do they try and shut up shop?

I think they sit back and look to counter early ... the onus is on Rosenborg to get a goal just to have a shot ... Celtic can afford to be patient

I don't anticipate many problems tbh, I'm confident we'll score over there and rosenborg are the type of team who looks to spoil and nick a result, not batter you. But you're right, you never know for sure

Good results for Scotland tonight. I genuinely hope Celtic have a good run this year, they've always been my second team, I even have a Celtic top. I also hope they do well because of the English arrogance when it comes to the SPL, cunts ripping the shit out of it for being poor quality, completely oblivious to the disadvantages it has money-wise.

Kinda mad that nobody here identified what changed after 20 minutes- ie our whole formation! 'Just never got going, took a while to wake up, seemed a bit lethargic'. We'd lined up 3-5-2 against their 4-3-3 with Gamboa up on right wing, forrest as a second striker and Tierney pinned way back as a third centre back. High risk against a 4-3-3 and while I thought it was having the disired effect of creating losts of overlaps/overloads when we had the ball it just left us too open when we lost it. Plus you really want Tierney in the final third. Reverted to our normal 4-2-3-1 after about 20 minutes and rosenborg never got another sniff, bingbangbong

I'm a junky constantly chasing the dragon of that one amazing European night. We don't even have to finish third, just give me that one night

    Exactly

I've been scraping together anything I could cook up on a spoon for years now with diminishing returns... I haven't been proper loaded since Kris Commons scored a penalty to put away Spartak a million years ago ... Just get me through the group stages, man... just this once ... I'll make it up to you, man, I swear ... we can lose 10-0 on aggregate in the round of 16, just let me smell it

I thought we were gonna get it in that munich game - we battered them in that second half until the equaliser and everyone in the stadium just knew we were gonna go on and win in the final ten minutes. Place is rocking, im near delirious, voice gone, mind quickly departing. Munich go and score 2 minutes later. Meaner than Hollywood nazis. Didn't even give us 5 minutes to enjoy it.

In fairness the 5-0 game vs rangers made up for any and all disappointments that season. Steaming and floating on air for at least 36 hours, dancing through govan 10 hours later singing holiday by Madonna for reasons obscure to everyone. I love Celtic.
