    You Got Mail

Does that count as a ´chick-flick´?
    If so, I like it.

Of which you post about it more than most.

Look, Polack, I know your ´comedy´ ´schtick´ lasted all of one day, and Hanzy is currently running you like a train, so you know, quit while I´m ahead.

Gone With The Wind - the most epic chick flick ever and is actually great in its almost 4 hours length.
The Notebook - if you have not seen this one, put your prejudices aside and enjoy this classic.
Camila - Argentina's first winner for Best Foreign language film and a highly entertaining film based on historical events.
Dirty Dancing - you know that one and you have watched it...admit it!
    Pretty Woman - ditto
Mama Mia! - I hate this film and I love ABBA. There was too much estrogen there and it made a fortune at the box office.
When Harry Met Sally - I actually liked this one, but it took years before I gave in to my wife's petitions to give it a try.
Breakfast at Tiffany - The film that made Audrey Hepburn an icon. I have never been able to watch more than 30 minutes.
My Big Fat Greek Wedding - Women loooove this film. I watched it and couldn't pinpoint what they see in this lame film.
Sense and Sensibility - based on a Jane Austen novel. I think this is actually a very good film worth one viewing.
Bridget Jones Diary - horrible, horrible stupid film.

Spoken like 2 true haters. Were you guys saying shit like this back when Smith was the top box office draw? Sure his star has fallen now but we should respect what guys like him gave us in the past. Instead everyone has to bitch and moan whenever a guy isn’t Marlon Brando just because it makes a good counter point.

Smith was a rare breed whose consistent charisma could bring a film up a point or two. How many up and coming guys we got like that today?

Haven’t seen most of these. I watched the Notebook off of a friends recommendation. It was alright but the story and love element felt so forced. It was like the movie version of an Ariana Grande song, no real heart, just scienced to death in an effort to create a hit.

I saw BFGW way back when it came out. I thought it was good but never got around to watching it again. Same thing with the chick flick movie Amilee.

If indecent proposal counts as a chick flick, it’s perhaps my favourite. Very good film and Harrelson’s performance in that one is rather underrated

Smith is shit and always was shit. And dare I ask you, which of his blockbusters is actually a GOOD movie? I'll wait.

    He's an unbearable actor imo.

Why should I bother making a list about that? All you’re going to do is disagree with it.

What’s considered a good movie is a matter of opinion just like your opinion that Smith is shit. Of course not many people around the world agree with you seeing as how Smith has made hundreds of millions if not billions of dollars from his films.

A lot of dumb shit makes money because people are stupid. Look how much Kevin Hart makes and he is a lot worse than Will.... Will Smith does suck though..He's always the same horrible "cool" character and when he tries something different (7 pounds) he's hilariously awful.

I enjoyed almost every Will Smith movie. I can’t say the same for Kevin Hart but just because I don’t care for him, I’m not going to be ignorant enough to think everyone who disagrees with my opinion does so because they are stupid and I’m on some higher level. Anyone who thinks like that is stupid.

Good on you for that. Will doesn't bother me that much to be honest. He's okay in some movies but nothing close to great. What annoys me is the fact that he is always cast as the "cool" guy with his "cool" lines and "funny" jokes. I think in order to be great you need to pull off all kinds of characters. To me he's always the same character and it's painfully boring.

This is true and actually in order for him to agree to a movie he usually insists on having his team go in and butter up the script with those one liners.

Nah I’m serious, I read that’s what they’ve been doing for him for years. That’s why all his jokes sound so similar. But lots of big time actors do stuff like that. I read Tom Cruise makes a lot of changes to scripts too. In fact there were some articles out there saying his changes to the Mummy reboot was a big reason it sucked.
