It’s not that much of a risk. Povetkin is made for AJ.

As slice said, Joshua vs the winner of wilder-fury is a MUCH bigger fight than Joshua vs Wilder right now. So Hearn has lucked out. Also povetkin is a name and considered dangerous plus he’s made to order for Joshua. So if Joshua dispatches him in impressive fashion and either wilder knocks fury the fuck out or fury takes wilder to school then the next fight will surely approach Mayweather-Pacquiao type numbers.

What Makes You Sooooooo Certain that "Next Fight" Will Be Joshua vs. the Wilder-Fury Winner?

REED Doesn't TRUST Hearn to Do the Right Thing and Joshua Doesn't Seem Inclined to DEMAND his Promoter MAKE the Fight we All Want to See Happen...

Granted, in NO Way Does REED Think Joshua FEARS Wilder (More and More American Fans Mistakenly Do, However) he's Just Not PRESSURING Hearn to Do What's Right, Even as it Chips Away @ His Own Credibility....

Anyways, Hearn is Laying the Foundation for Joshua-Whyte II, April 2019...

Joshua-Whyte II is an awful fight. No need for it. The first fight wasn't even competitive.

What is it then, if it's not 'fear'?

It's got to be fear of being KO'd or losing the '0', which in either case woukd affect Joshua's image/marketability.

What other possible reason would the 'Heavyweight Champion of the World', the ultimate image to have and goal to attain in all sports...not want to fight the guy who would produce the biggest fight out there??

REED Has No Proof, But he Believes Joshua is TRUSTING Hearn to a FAULT.

Few Men Who Fight for a Living are AFRAID of Other Fighters. Call REED Crazy, But He Thinks Joshua Would Fight Wilder Tomorrow.

That Said, Hearn is CLEARLY Fearful of Joshua’s Chances of Beating Wilder. Coupled w/His Greed, Hearn is MILKING Joshua Until the Very Last Minute.

He’s SELLING it to Joshua as “Let it Build Anthony, Let it Build”, But at the Core Hearn’s LACK of Confidence in AJ is Apparent.

Joshua’s Gonna Have to DEMAND The Wilder Fignt For Hearn to EARNESTLY and HONESTLY Pursue It.

In fairness... Joshua is pretty shitty also.

AJ would have been a whipping boy in the 90s. He's a big, chinny, robotic oaf.

That's why he and Wilder are 50-50. Both are shit.

Wilder would be dangerous to Joshua IF Joshua overestimates him. Joshua can't go in there too afraid of Wilder's power, rather he must go in there expecting to just knock Wilder the fuck out. If Joshua goes into a Wilder fight expecting to just walk through him and knock him out, he actually will. However if he goes into the fight weary of Wilder's power, Wilder will catch him and potentially fuck him up

Wilder would KO AJ robotic ass. He actually has pretty good movement, unlike AJ who's lumbering around like a big oaf. He'd make AJ follow him and would splatter him with a right hand

phonetap agrees with brother REED. Hearn is milking everything he can before putting Joshua in the ring with Wilder.

Wilder has the power to KO anyone but Joshua has a much better chance of scoring the KO. Joshua’s offensive arsenal is vastly superior to wilder’s. Wilder has more power, but weaker chin and is a one punch at a time bomber whereas Joshua can put them together in bunches.

Whyte and klitschko are bigger punchers than anyone that wilder has faced. The hardest puncher wilder has faced and been hit by is old man Ortiz and he was BADLY shaken up. As such I think Whyte would have had wilder hurt far worse than Joshua was and Wlad May have stopped him if he had hit him the way he hit Joshua.

REED Doesn’t Know If He’d Rate Whyte Over Ortiz as a Puncher. Wlad Yes, But Not Whyte.

Who’s the Best Guy Whyte KO’ed? Ortiz KO’ed Bryant Jennings, Something Even Wlad COULDN’T Do.

Ortiz definitely bigger puncher than Whyte. Wilder showed good recovery to hang in there against Ortiz, I'd bet his ability to take a punch is at least on a par with Joshua.

Even Dana White is a big fan of Wilder. He was watching Wilder/Ortiz cage-side while his own UFC event was happening. LOL

Nah, you're the one overrating the fuck out of him. He's a decent fighter, but he's full of flaws, and these flaws are becoming more and more obvious.

Fury fights absolutely nothing like AJ. I like Joshua, he's definitely better than he gets credit for on here sometimes.

Saying that, the difference between Joshua and Fury for me, and I said the same thing about Wlad and Vitali, AJ strikes me as somebody who learned how to fight (and he's a very good learner), where as Fury is somebody who was born to fight. There's just an innate talent and fighting IQ in Fury that you can't teach. AJ is blessed in terms of physical talent but there's a difference.
