I love the way they play... excellent cohesion, very old school and the bass player is absolutely brilliant

Most of what you two fandans listen to sounds the way bellbottoms look. Albeit cloggs bellbottoms were made by master tailors and we're appropriately impressed by the stitching. And magus' are just regular old musty bellbottoms that ve been lying in a box for 40 years

Some truly top drawer drinking music

Campbelltoon loch i wish you were whisky cambletoon loch och aye
Campbelltoon loch i wish you were whisky I would drink ye dry!

I'd buy a yacht with the money I've got
And I'd anchor it out in the bay.
If I wanted anip I'd go for a dip, I'd be swimmin' by night and by day!! Ooooh!

Campbelltoon loch i wish you were whisky cambletoon loch och aye
Campbelltoon loch i wish you were whisky I would drink ye dry!

We'd have a gathering of the clans
They'd come from near and far
I can see them grin as they're wading in
    And shouting "Slàinte mhòr!".

I was looking at the top 10 biggest-selling albums of all time. No Beatles, and how the fuck is Garth Brooks in there?

Beatles and Led Zeppelin redeems what is otherwise a horrible list ... Dark Side is objectively a good album but I'm just so sick of it... Really surprised that the Springsteen live set sold that many copies, very unusual for a boxed set. I have lots of respect for Prince and I think some of his stuff is really good but I never liked Purple Rain much. SNF soundtrack has some fun tunes from The Bee Gees and others ... genuinely surprised no Stevie Wonder or Chicago albums made the list, both were so popular in the 70s and into the 80s

Same... I like his second record from 1974 but other than that, No thanks... his band is a very solid rock and roll ensemble though, very good

I worked his gig at hampden x ago and he kept playing so long beyond his scheduled finish time that they started flashing the floodlights on and off and then finally pulled the plug on him. Guy was 100 years old and ripped!

If an album came out in 70's, isn't it unfair to compare its total sales to one that came out in the 90's?

Like eagles greatest hits - it has to be so high because people keep fucking buying it, right?

I'm actually surprised Dark Side of The Moon is so low to be honest, didn't it break records by staying in the charts for 15 years or something mental like that? Would have thought it'd place higher. The album's really grown on me the past few years, great songs, wonderful production. I get your hate for it having heard it so many times but like you say, objectively it's clearly a great album.

I remember reading that the biggest selling artist from 2001-2010 was Eminem. In second place was The Beatles. Pretty nuts that a band that ended 40 years previously was still selling enough records to place 2nd so far into the future.
