Double, watch The Friends of Eddie Coyle. It's better than Klute, Night Moves, and Charley Varick.

Yeah it's not a masterpiece, just a really entertaining film ... I love Max von Sydow as the contract killer

Will check it out. In the middle of some newer movie called, Delinquent. It's "okay." Unfort, usually have to watch movies over span of at least two days.

Watched Day of the Jackal. It was pretty good, wouldn't call it great though. It was a lil slow and dull at times, and the ending was a letdown... very anticlimactic.

Plus, the actor who played The Jackal had the personality of a wall. It woulda been a badass movie with 70s Michael Caine playing The Jackal. He woulda been perfect.

Overall, it was worth seeing once. But I never care to see it again.

    What are you talking about?
Edward Fox was perfect for that role....Caine would have been as good as he would playing Ben Kenobi...he's a charmless Cockney wanker who, if he was on fire, Fox wouldn't piss on.

    Slow and dull?
What are you on about??? Lolololol

Based on Get Carter, you cant tell me that Caine wouldn't have been a more ruthless, charismatic and convincing assassin.

Is Fox known for anything else besides Jackal?

    Gangster.
    Battle Of Britain
    A Bridge Too Far

    (ironically both starring Micheal Caine!)

But Jackal is why he was a) so perfect in the role and b) remembred for it.
