No on this occasion he isn't being snobbish: there's definitely a drought when it comes to 'originality' in Hollywood and has for the last 15 years or so.

But then sequels and remakes bring in the money and thats all that counts now.

 

I liked Jurassic World a lot but this one doesn't seem interesting at all.

At least the kid in this one wasn’t annoying like all the other ones...

What kinda movie snob doesn't like the original? The original is still awesome to this day.

All of the sequels were horrible though, and the most recent I think takes the cake as THE worst.

 

It’s not that bad, if you’re a fan of the series I’d say check it out. About the worst you can say is the story is a little silly. The pacing, acting and directing is all fine. In short it’s not too much worse than JW I.

 

It's just stupid... the dinosaurs are vindictive... it's just dumb

 

Didnt you know?
Velociraptors (whom, up until that movie no-one had heard about) are smart-ass IQ dinosaurs.
They know battle strategy, tactics, how to open doors and get through electric fences and stuff.

And, in one of the new shit movies, they can be trained like dogs and everything.

 

in this new movie one of the raptors can even bark orders at other raptors to get them to be disciplined like soldiers....the ultimate military weapon!
