i read a clinical, peer reviewed article detailing pacquiao's injury in the first fight so now Im convinced he will win a rematch!
Mayweather talking about getting another easy 9 mill payday. LOL Not gonna get even a fraction of what he got in the first fight or the McGregor fight. Nobody with a braincell will order this crap again.
to be honest, with the way pac looked against Mathysse, coupled with PBF inactivity, I could see a different outcome this time around. Its not like the first fight was a total domination
Pacquaio is garbage. Old man should retire. He's got nothing left. Most he can do is beat bums and losers and can barely KO anyone these days unless they're cans. Don't be a sucker. Don't give these aging f*ckers your money.
Floyd is shot. Pacquiao would probably beat him at this point and spoil his 50-0. Then he’ll come back again to at least leave the sport on a victory and probably take a risk against Spence or Crawford, in order to salvage his reputation and then get dominated or stopped. Then come back again to salvage that and get eaten up again. In other words he risks making the Roy Jones mistake.
Mayweather looked shot against a guy who punches like this and that was a year ago So it's actually possible that Kellerman's prediction of a Pacquiao stoppage actually comes true
If mayweather truly makes this fight he deserves to lose. That greed must be punished. If he came back to take on Canelo however I’d respect that
If he were serious about coming back and wanted a fight to cement his legacy, a Canelo fight would be perfect.
He made the MacGregor fight because he needed money. He had a $20 million plus unpaid tax bill. Imagine what he owes now.
So why is there any actual belief this rematch would happen? You think Mayweather jr will fight in Myanmar or laos?
If this crap will actually happen, it would mean no Wilder vs Fury this year. Showtime won't put up two big PPV cards that close to each other. Eddie Hearn has repeatedly said that Fury vs Wilder won't happen. Hopefully, neither will this
A lot of people didn't believe Floyd-McGregor would happen either. It just depends on how much money is at stake. Everybody knows it won't make as much money as the first one but even half of that is massive chunk of change. The public are also a bunch of suckers. Plenty will dole out their dollars for "the return of Mayweather". People now who claim they have no interest will suddenly change their tune when the hype machine starts rolling.
#MeToo I think it was in the late 90s and after the fiasco performance and black eye decision, I swore that I'll never pay for a boxing match ever again.
I wonder if the hype of McGregor/Khabib at UFC 229 and the talks of it possibly hitting the 2 million PPV buys range is what's motivating Mayweather to try to eclipse that number by trying to push for the Pacquiao fight. If you notice, when Mayweather isn't feuding with 50 Cent, he seems to be mentioning McGregor in some capacity. Probably wants to show McGregor up any way he can and also boast that he can make a much bigger payday on top than McGregor can.
I won't watch it. I would watch Mayweather/Canelo 2 though or Mayweather/GGG. But Pacquiao is completely dead. He has nothing left. Just a shot old man. Plus he's near broke and trying to get another big payday. His performance in a rematch would be even worse than the first fight. He's eroded in speed and skills even more in these 3 years. And he already looked like sh*t in the first fight as it was.
