Like I said, free shot, and I'll tell you, those 200lb guys are faster and more mobile and sometimes harder to just nail down. Easier to break down once you get them going, but it's like a Rhino fighting a cobra........you have to take some poison and shake it off before you trample the serpent.

What has a boxer´s punching-power got to do with the number of times of him being dropped?

    I don´t know - let´s ask Félix Trinidad.

Fury or Wilder? Call it. You have to call it, I can’t call it for you.

Wilder has shown vulnerability against much lesser opponents as well.

To be quite honest... I think Wilder is gonna clip Fury and finish him off inside of 6.

Joshua's Getting What Amounts to ON THE JOB TRAINING, So Of Course There's Things to Criticize...You'd Have to Be Lomachenko or Rigondeaux to Be the FINISHED PRODUCT After Just 22 Fights...

Nonetheless, the Vast Majority of the Post-Fight Comments Have Been ALL Critical...No Mention of Joshua's Punch Resistance Or Improvements in his Boxing Acumen....

Also people heap praise on Lennox Lewis now but those of us who have been boxing fans for a long time remember how bad he had looked against Bruno before stopping him in the same 7th round after hurting him with a Hail Mary left hook. Lewis was widely criticized for that performance with people saying that both Bowe and Holyfield would have taken him. They had forgotten how great he looked against Ruddock and Biggs.

Before this fight many said it was a dangerous fight for Joshua and talked about how Povetkin hit hard and had never been stopped and how it was a huge risk blah blah blah. Joshua finished him in 7 rounds. Some fights you win good and others you win ugly...that has happened with all the greats...the point is that Joshua won with room (5 rounds) to spare.

I think a lot of the criticism vs Anthony 'Mr Roboto' Joshua is based on Eddie Hearn, selling out Wembley Stadium 4 fights in a row to plebs, the fact he appeals solely to non-boxing plebs and the irritating bias of SKY/BBC.

    agREED...

Watching Wilder Swing and (BADLY) Miss Will Be Comedic for a Round or 3, but he's Going To HIT and HURT Fury @ Some Point, Round 6 or Sooooner...This Isn't Wlad, Who was SPOOKED Into Throwing Single Digit, Half-Hearted "Punches" Round After Round...

Americans were Definitely Slooooooow to Embrace Lennox...

Povetkin WAS a Dangerous Fight, Especially Regarding the Payday a Wilder Fight Will Generate...The THREAT of Povetkin Was More than Confirmed By Joshua Walking Back to his Corner w/a Fucked Up Nose, a Mere 3 Minutes In...

Despite the KO Win, REED Still Thinks it was Dumb of Hearn to Risk It...And Then it's Revealed Later Joshua Fought Off the Flu and Didn't Have the Greatest of Training Camps??...It Worked Out, But Joshua-Povetkin Hung PERILOUSLY in the Balance Up Until that Right Cross Landed...

    Maybe.

But I’m not so sure Wilder will have the ring IQ to make the adjustments he’ll need to make.

I don’t think it’s about adjustments...it’s about stamina, handspeed, power and an unpredictable awkward style of fighting. At some point Fury will get nailed because wilder carries his power late and delivers the punch with speed....can fury handle it? That’s the question. And if fury is up on points as we all expect...wilder will be on him like a rabid hyena if fury even wobbles slightly.

That's such a ridiculous argument. We don't have the advantage of hindsight while evaluating AJ. Yes Lewis and Ali sometimes looked like crap against average opponents, but we know it's the exception and not the rules. And at the time of these fights, they deserved the criticism they were getting. We dont' have this luxury with AJ, and it's completely legitimate to point out his flaws, even if it bother his fans.

I have never said that Joshua shouldn't be criticised, not that his performance had been perfect, as it obviously wasn't. We disagree just with the amount of criticism, and you also have a bad temper

Wilder’s aggression will probably go in Fury’s favor. He’ll walk into punches the same way Lacy did against Calzaghe.

Nah. Wilder isn’t aggressive like Lacy was. Wilder waits and feints and poses and looks for his opportunities before striking. He only turns into a maniac once he has his man hurt.

Fury is one of those guys who doesn't give a monkey's fuck about entertaining the crowd. He only cares about the result. It's shit for the fans, but again he doesn't care. If he can bank round after round throwing 5 punches to Wlad's 2 then he will just keep doing that. It's up to the opponent to change things.

He's not good to watch but the guy can clearly fight. He might look like a big gypsy slug but he has a very good ring IQ.
