Of course he will be interested. It's still a huge pay day. He's not going to retire after fighting Wilder.

Fury will lose his shine if he loses. He hasn’t really accomplished much except beating a tentative wlad in a boring fight

Who’s the BIGGER Domestic Fight for Joshua? A Manufactured “Rival” He’s Already KO’ed (Dillian Whyte) OR Fury Coming Off a KO Loss to Wilder?

    No Brainer Bruh.

Classic strawman argument though REED. Who was arguing about biggest domestic fight or Which is better Whyte or Fury? Certainly not me. Focus. The matter at hand is would Joshua want to fight Fury if Tyson loses, and to that I say NO. Pointless fight for him at that point. Joshua would look for wilder, Ortiz or some other international top heavyweights...who says he’s restricted to fighting the best domentic talent? Certainly not I.

He'd lose his "shine" if he took a bath once in a while

More Than Most, the UK is BIG on Domestic Clashes and Since Joshua's BASE is the UK, a Fury Fight Would Be Big Even if Wilder Shits On Him in Less Than a Round...

You're Suggesting Fury Would Be of Little to No Value to Joshua, w/a Loss, but REED Respectfully Disagrees...Now, if Fury Had a Series of David Price Type of Losses, Sure, He'd Be of NO Benefit to Joshua...

But if Fury's ONLY Loss was to Wilder, it'd Still Be in Joshua's BEST Interests to Make it Happen...

You know as well as I that if fury say gets bombed out by Wilder the narrative will be that he’s shot and how he never recovered from his mental health and weight gain issues. Also people will evaluate his entire career and realize that he only achieved beating Wlad, and that it was a non fight anyway filled with posturing and clinching. He wouldn’t be considered a serious opponent for Joshua. From Joshua’s point of view a fury fight would be a no win situation for if he wins he’s beaten a shot damaged fighter and if he struggles or loses his stock plummets. So, again, Joshua and his camp would have no interest in that one. Should fury win, however, then that’s a HUGE fight.

    Agree to DISagree Bruh...

Your Opinion is Spot On Regarding American Fans....There'd Be Zero Interest in Joshua-Fury, Safe for Hardcore Fans...

But REED Thinks You're Underestimating How BIG that Fight Would Be in the UK, Assuming Fury Had No More than 1 Loss @ The Time...

REED Likens it to Kell Brook vs. Amir Khan...Even Though Brook's OutGrown the Division and Khan's Chin is SHIT, That's Still a BIG Fight on British Soil...

It's not a no win situation if he makes a career high payday. Don't forget, you know, the real reason these guys fight.

Money yes, but money is not just about short term gain...it's about building brand and taking strategic steps to ensure consistently big paydays down the line. Fighting Fury coming off a loss would be an unnecessary risk and could affect future earnings...and Hearn would be cognizant of this (if he's smart).

Perhaps....perhaps (in terms of UK fan interest). But it wouldn't be worth it in terms of long term career progression for Joshua and so I doubt it gets made.

Whyte is pretty well known here by now and people expect excitement from him - dunno if its that cut and dry tbh. Bear in mind furey has had to relaunch his career on undercards and in whytes last fight he headlined a ppv

Fury was Only On Undercards Because His Opponents Couldn't Possibly Be Justified as Main Eventers Bruh...

Put it This Way, Even if Fury Lost to Wilder, He'd Still Get the Lion's Share of the Purse for a Fight w/Dillian Whyte...

He's only 29. He's got lots of time. He's younger than Wilder.

This is an easy fight for Wilder. Fury has no power and Wilder has a lot. Just a case of how long can Fury stink out the joint before Wilder lands on him.

Wilder is a dreadful boxer though ... absolutely putrid ... he may never land whatever fight-altering shot he's banking on

It's his only path to victory because Furry would be perfectly content to just keep the action to a minimum and bank rounds with some slapping shots here and there ...

He’s awful to behold that’s for sure. Very ugly amateurish style of fighting. However when you have that height, reach hand speed and stamina does it really matter?

It’s not like he’ll be fighting Lennox Lewis or Ali...tall guys with long reaches and great boxing and survival skills. His natural talents would be enough to defeat many good guys with less height and shorter arms

If it were THAT Easy to Beat Wilder, SOMEBODY Would've Managed to Do it By Now McDogg...

Yes, There's PISS POOR Stretches in Just About Every Fight of His, but Wilder Possesses Intangible Qualities (Determination, Unwavering Confidence) and Extraordinary Punching Power...

Luis Ortiz was a Very Skilled, Undefeated, Hard Punching, Textbook Cuban Fighter, and 10 Rounds Later He was Wilder's 39th KO Victim...

I was thinking of the daft tinker ... big tall guy that likes to minimize the action

Lol Lennox Lewis vs Wilder would be one of those "Lennox thinks this guy could be dangerous so he's going to kill him right away" fights

It was the power that got it done though... all the rest of what Sly mentioned didn't help a lot... he had a terrible time with Ortiz
