Come on bro, you know it’s not that simple. He delivered the power because of the handspeed behind it, because of his height and reach and because of the stamina that allowed him to carry it late in the fight.

The determination and confidence that REED mentioned are important factors too. He didn’t give up during that period of difficulty and believed in his power to bail him out. Those intangibles are tough to overcome

Wilder's Physical Make-Up ENHANCES His Power...He'd Have a Degree of Power Regardless, But the Height, Speed, Commitment, Torque, etc., All Add to the Devastating Effects of His Shots...

Based Solely On Power, SOLELY POWER (Before Any of You Sensitive, Ol' School Fucks Thinks REED is Comparing Them in ANY Other Way), Wilder is the Heavyweight Version of Tommy Hearns, Sandy Saddler and Bob Foster...

All of Them Would've Been Good Punchers Regardless, but Their Physical Make-Up and Body-Type Led to Them Being HISTORIC, ALL TIME GREAT Punchers...

Word, plus his height and reach allow him to stick is jab in an opponents face simultaneously keeping them at bay and blinding them so that he can land the fast right hand on the button.

I can't believe at 6'7, Wilder is only 215 lbs. He should bulk up to about 230. Add more mass and strength.

Nah bro. He’s good as is. At 215lb he’s fast and seems to have stamina. Adding weight may compromise those two things. Weight isn’t everything.

He was 225-226 in some earlier fights. Against Ortiz, he cut down to 215 and some people said he looked thin and gaunt. It may have affected him negatively in the fight. Sort of like Bowe in the second Golota fight.

Ultimately Only Team Wilder Knows, But REED Thinks Deontay’s Difficulties w/Ortiz Amounted to a SKILL Deficiency vs a Weight Defeciency.

I really like Fury. He's the only fighter in the sport with a compelling personality. I hope he kicks the dog shit outta Wilder, but like I said, I think this fight is gonna be over inside of 6 w/Fury on his back.

Hope I'm wrong, but I doubt it.

I understand people liking fury’s personality more than wilder’s and rooting for him as a result. However, wilder is much better for boxing than Fury, boxing always attracts the casual fans when there’s a heavyweight champion that can punch and knocks everyone the fuck out. Boxing needs a Wilder more than it needs Fury and Joshua vs Wilder is even more compelling than Joshua vs Fury.

Well, these two are definitely doing a good job of selling the fight so far.

This is one of those matchups where the "bad blood" angle is contrived to sell the fight, cause despite all the back and forth, I get the general feeling that these two like eachother.

I think they both legitimately DISLIKE Joshua, however.

Yeah agree totally. To be honest I don't have much interest in the build-up purely because it's obvious they like and respect each other, all this pushing and shoving shite is bollocks.

At this point, I'm beyond tired of any pre fight bad blood, since we've been subjected monthly to contrived beef in the last few years (main culprit being the UFC, where every fighters seems to dislike each other)

I don't know if it was contrived but it obviously wasn't 'serious' either. I thought fury was trying to bam him up a bit but mainly just alleviate his own boredom. Sitting thru those press conferences must be deathly

She’s not particularly attractive but I’m impressed with her intelligence, maturity and ability to express herself.

They like and respect each other NOW but as they get closer to the fight and realize the real prospect that one of them is going to lose his “0”, lineal or WBC belt and a shot at Joshua, they won’t like each other much then.

She's got a real cute smile and demeanor, I think she's attractive, certainly for a lassie who's had four/five weans. The still embedding the vid is unflattering

Yeah because he’s the money maker and has all the attention from the media.

I was going to give an analogy involving Duran’s animosity towards Leonard but then remembered that you’d respond something to the effect of “Now Sly’s Comparing Joshua to Leonard”.

    Home Page:
David Haye said in a recent interview that Wilder is one of those Vitaly-types that looks worse than he is. Haye claimed that he is actually difficult to hit cleanly.

According to the same article several sparring partners say that Wilder is the biggest puncher of this generation, including Joshua and Wlad. Difficult to say for sure of course

Wilder's punches are whipped in there, sort of like McClellan's. Devastating stuff apparently.

I think it's pretty evident that Wilder is not an easy guy to hit, at least, with hard punches. He moves really well and he's rather patient.
