    For me it’s definitely Riddick

    A couple other honorable mentions:
    Scarface
    Alonzo from training day.

Alonzo wasnt an anti-hero. He was 100% a villain.

    Tony Montana, yes, anti-hero.

I like Gosling, he's a really good actor, but he pissed me off in that film. Just fucking talk you dick.

I think you're blaming Gosling for something that you should fault the director for.

The director of Drive, Nicholas Refn, is known as a highly pretentious director.

I personally don't have a problem with his character. I thought of Gosling as a pussy before that movie, but Drive proved he can play quite a good badass.

People rarely mention this but.. Hannibal Lecter is an anti-hero. He's thought of as a villain, but Buffalo Bill is the villain in Lambs, not Dr. Lecter.

Then again the sequel, Mason Verger is the villain, and Dr. Lecter is once again the anti-hero.

I've only heard of this film because its infamous for robbing Citizen Kane of Best Picture.

    Is it quality?

Nah... very dated ... cheesy. Caught it on tv one night and couldn't get through it.

Then it's an even bigger joke that it beat Kane.

Citizen Kane was light years ahead of its time... it's like a 70's movie

Yeah, Kane is an excellent movie.

I probably wouldn't personally call it THE BEST film ever... but it's definitely great.

I think the arguments in favor usually center around how groundbreaking it was and how influential it was

It might be the most important film ever made but I'd agree ... it's a great movie but not one of my favorites

Is a good film, but I agree that Citizen Kane was denied the Oscar because William Randolph Hearst used his money power to sabotage its chances with academy members.
