Quite naturally, we tend to concentrate to the controversial events that changed history one way or another. We can debate Chavez-Taylor I or Whitaker-Chavez forever.

Sometimes it happens though that there are errors as big or even bigger than these, yet they don't affect the outcome. This type of bogus calls are usually forgotten, even though they tell us as much about what is wrong with the sport.

So let's list some poor refereeing, judging etc where it didn't decide the fight. Examples:

One judge had Tyson ahead in his fight against Douglas going to the tenth round.

In Brewster-Krasniqi, the referee stopped his count at 8, then waited for Krasniqi to get up, before letting the bout to continue. Krasniqi wouldn't have beaten the count, and didn't, when Brewster KOd him again in the next round.

One judge gave Tyson zero rounds in Tyson-Holyfield 1

Roldan's bogus "knockdown" of Hagler ultimately earned him little more than probably an even harsher asswhuppin

I haven't watched Tyson-Holy 1 in many years, but from what I remember... Mike won rounds 1 & 5, but that's about it. He hurt Holy in the 5th.

I was incredibly drunk by about round 4 of that fight

Of the night it happened, I remember Steve Albert saying "you are looking at a sports legend in the purple trunks!" and the end ... my other memory is vomiting like crazy

You're a walking stereotype is what you are.

As for myself, I left after round 6.. had to go sell drugs and rob a liquor store.

But to answer the question.. I cant think of anything worse than the one judge having Mayweather-Canelo a draw.

lol when you woke up did you question what you witnessed? I was tanked hours before RJJ-Tarver 2 started and normally would have went to bed but forced myself to stay up and watch it.

Watched in double vision and thought the first round went kind of as expected. Then in the 2nd, BLAM! it's all over. There was nothing at all wrong with the fight but i felt cheated.

It seems us boxing fans tend to easily forget those things as long as the just outcome occurred. Those judges are probably thankful for it as well.

It would be interesting to see a list of worst scorecards in high profile fights and then a follow-up of how many big gigs those same judges received afterward.

    Morales Barrera 1.

I’m one of those who thought Morales deserved the decision. Barrera was given a bogus knockdown in the 12th but thankfully it didn’t affect the outcome.

Judah should have been awarded a knockdown of Mayweather but it wouldn’t have changed the outcome either way.

Yep. I think it would have been better if it was called a KD as Floyd would have had better reason to go on the offensive and get rid of that punk.

Klitschko point deduction for "Holding" vs Haye.............Haye flopped of his own volition.

Hayes point loss for being "Knocked Down".........Haye was docked a point as the ref had grown weary of him flopping around.

Neither made a difference, Haye won 2 rounds at best.

Alejandro Berrio being docked points for low blows vs Robert Stigelitz..........the shots were borderline and Stigelitz KO'd him in any case.

I believe that the judges had Taylor way up in the first Pavlik fight, and if Kelly didn't stop him that fight would have been tarnished by a bad decision.

Pavlik controlled the whole fight with the exception of the second.
