Saturday night is history, guys. Though it's not the last HBO telecast, its gonna be the last QUALITY telecast in HBO history, considering all they have scheduled after is a gross mismatch between Bivol and Pascal. I think Jacobs is gonna rise to the occasion and win a close fight. Chenko has never fought anybody with Jacobs skill and power and we just dunno his worth. It basically is 50-50 though
Nah. Bivol vs Pascal just got announced for next month, and I heard they're gonna officially close things out with a December card featuring Jaime Munguia. So that's a showcase for Bivol, and probably a showcase for Munguia. So like I said, this is the last good matchup in HBO Boxing history.
It is a solid, even match-up but for some reason I don't find it very intriguing. I believe Jacobs wins with his physical advantages
Over 300 Rounds of Shared Sparring...When 2 Fighters are THAT Familiar w/Each Other, the Safe Pick is the One That Operates Less Deliberately, Which is Jacobs... Jacobs By UD... REED
thats the thing, jacobs could simply wait out a big payday with alvarez, charlo or a golovkin rematch. the fact that his camp was confident enough to take this fight to me means they know they can handle the guy. otherwise Id pick derevyanchenko because he looks like the better fighter.
Was Strange to REED as Well... Jacobs was ALREADY the WBA Mandatory...Like You Said, he Could've Milked That a Bit, Yet he's "Risking" it All for a Lower Level Payday vs. a Guy he's Trained w/???... REED
Charlo dont wanna come to DAZN, so Jacobs-Charlo is outta the question. Canelo wants to stay at 168, so that fight is outta the question. And it looks extremely likely that Golovkin will now fight cans til he retires. So if Danny wins Saturday, what makes most sense is a unification with Andrade. Problem is, Jacobs and Andrade are best friends.. I worry they might hold back if they fight. I much rather see them in with Charlo, since theres bad blood between Charlo and both Jacobs/Andrade.
but then, if i'm not mistaken, it was that idiot neil hyping him. And that fucker couldnt distinguish a stop sign from his own ass
Irrelevant. Neither one stops Canelo, meaning they both lose wide UD's on the cards of the total fair and impartial Golden Boy judges.
I gotta give Danny credit, he's beaten two really solid guys in his last two fights in Sulecki and Chenko
