I remember Foster saying something like "I liked Mike, I didn't wanna have to hurt him. I told him to keep moving around the ring, but he didn't listen."

He was scarred Jerry was going to get him and do what all good heavyweights did to Foster, knock his spindly ass out.

He would've knocked you spark out and 9 months later you'd give birth to a healthy biracial butt baby

I'm partial to Floyd Patterson's left hook KO to Ingemar Johnasson

Robinson one is not that good looking. If you didn't knew Fulmer was steel chinned, it's an average ko at best

Though I might interpret the topic wrongly, cause X migh be more interested in the result than in the visual aspect of the KO

nah bro, it's a good shot but compared to some other ko, doenst seems like much. I think marciano is an overrated little gnome, but his ko of walcott is much more impressive

You could argue that 'greatest' doesn't neccessrily mean 'biggest' or 'hardest' in which case Muhammad Ali's straight right-hand that dropped and TKO'd George Foreman qualifies as 'great', contextually speaking.

Leonard KOing Green has to be one of the most brutal combinations of punches I’ve ever seen. Green wasn’t elite level, obviously but still a pretty impressive KO.

What a left uppercut. Much like Irish pointed out earlier, you can see how he masterfully he gets so much body weight and leverage into his punches. That’s not even including the speed, timing and accuracy/placement of the punch.

You can see his whole body almost short circuit as he crumples in a heep to the canvas. Perfect shot.

Here's the Valdez right hand that took out Benny Briscoe. At exactly 1:30. Valdez was a MURDEROUS puncher.

What's wild is that it was Valdez who went to the hospital for a short while after the fight because of what doctors called "suppressed anxiety"

Tyson/Seldon. The wind from Tyson's arm put a 230 lb Seldon down on his ass like he'd just gotten shot. Incredible!

That was a 1-2, really. He doesn't land that jab, he doesn't land that right hand with the same efficacy.

Don't believe me? Stand in front of a heavy bag of note and try to throw a lead right hand.................do this with a proper heavy bag.

Now try to throw the jab first with the right hand falling in behind it.....It's different.

The left is a range finder that improves the right hand immeasurably.
