What? Didn't you heard "Another one Bites the Dust' when the screen faded to black in 'Cobra Kai' season ending episode? You know, the one with the suspicious ending between LaRusso & Robbie...

Yeah don’t. That way you can continue your trend of negatively critiquing movies you haven’t seen. And for the record, biopics aren’t usually trash, they’re like most films and only occasionally trash.
Unless they were going to include/replicate the infamous Halloween party in the Fairmont Hotel in New Orleans on the opening night of the 'Jazz' tour in 1978, then I might watch it. But of course, they won't / can't. Bizarre, by all accounts. Saturday Night In Sodom: Freddie Mercury and Queen: A Night at the Fairmont - OffBeat Magazine
Queen/Freddie Mercury is an interesting topic for a no-holds barred HBO Mini-Series certainly. A PG-13 family friendly release pared down to a 2 hour running time? Seems like such a waste of Rami Malek, who is probably the only guy on earth who might actually be able to pull off a Freddie Mercury portrayal. I'll probably watch it when it hits cable/Netflix, and I anticipate I'll like parts of it out of pure indulgence of the subject and the music, and hate other parts of it for it's predictable, bland, generic, bio-picness of it.
RT scores are very interesting: critics, along Clogg, Most-Turd and their sycophants, gave the film a 59% rotten, but audiences are loving it with a 94% fresh.
It was better than expected. Malek was great and deserves an Oscar nod. It was music heavy and glossed over the faggotry which I was thankful for.
Watched it on Saturday as the wife wanted to watch it as our date night. It was better than I thought. Not very accurate (it gave way too much emphasis on Freddy Mercury's relationship with his wife which we know was a moot point), but it was entertaining and the Live Aid concert appearance at the end was just awesome. The teeth prothetics of the main actor was too distracting as he could barely talk with it without sounding forced. Was never a Queen fan, but I this movie is solid entertainment. 8/10
I saw it on Saturday as well. I’m not sure if it was the movie itself or Malek’s performance but I was completely immersed in this film. I can’t recall the last time I was so thoroughly immersed in a film to the point where I wasn’t thinking about the pace, or the direction or anything, I was just gone. I was so immersed in the film that I actually stopped and realized how immersed I had been just a second before. I think it was the performance more than the film because I don’t think the story was anything special and I probably won’t even watch it again. If I do it’ll be because of Malek’s performance because whenever he was on screen he just stole the whole show. I also really enjoyed the musical performances and I never knew how impressive Freddy Mercury’s vocal range was despite hearing many of Queen’s songs. I hope Malek gets an Oscar for this 8/10.
