Doesn't seem like this chap is ever coming back. I mean, he's one of Haymon's biggest fighters. If he REALLY wanted to come back, you'd think something would be scheduled by now.

Uma Thurman's got more chance of fighting anyone decent than that pony-tailed bum.

It's time to consider him a fucking bum.

Strom Thurmand has a better chance at a comeback.

To his credit, his Indian wife is gorgeous. Maybe he rather fuck her all day than train.

It's Time for the WBA to STRIP Thurman of their Title, That's for Sure...What was Once Boxing's HOTTEST Weight Class is Now STAGNANT...

And the Bulk of the Blame is Thurman...

And if that's the Case, Fine! Just SAY It...

It's CLEAR Thurman's Lost the "Eye of the Tiger", but Instead of GRACEFULLY Riding Off into the Sunset, he's Holding the Division Hostage...And That's Not Cool OR Fair to Other Fighters or Boxing Fans...

Time has passed him by. He was never all that seriously injured. He just wanted to have it easy but now that Spence and Crawford are on the scene, it’s anything but.

The longer a fighter stays away, the harder it is to motivate himself to get up early and train on the level he would need to if he wants to compete with the elite.

WBA should have stripped him long ago.

I've defended Thurman a lot on this subject. But as time pass by, it become more and more difficult to do so. Does he even have a fight scheduled?

    No, he doesnt.

My only explanation is that he doesn't view Spence as a winnable fight. And if he comes back, that's gonna be the matchup the boxing world wants.

MAYBE the plan is to bring him back on the Spence-Garcia undercard, I dunno.

Porter: Thurman Wants Rematch, Negotiations Have Begun

Porter phones Thurman "Aye Keith, you tryna fight Errol?"

Thurman "Helll nawwwww nigga, I ain't boutta do all that! You?"

Porter "Nope! Not at all. You tryna run it back and do this rematch so we both can avoid him?"

Thurman "Sounds like a plan! Let's do this! Then, win or lose, let's both retire afterwards so we have an excuse to never fight him."

Porter "Bet! Sounds like a plan to me!"

Thurman cant just jump back in the ring with an elite pugilist like porter. A televised rematch or 2 is in order

Funny how he doesn’t need a tune up for Porter, despite a 2 year layoff.

He simply knows he cannot beat Spence. Something about Errol has him spooked.

Thurman Will Lose the RE to Porter, Setting Up a 3rd Fight, Leaving Spence OUT of Their Reindeer Games in 2019.

    What do you think, REED??

Do Porter and Thurman just not fancy their chances against Spence?

This is ridiculous. The lengths they go to avoid him is unbecoming of a prize fighter IMO.

    No They Don't Puerto Rock...

Spence Has Done EVERYTHING Thurman Asked of Him ("Establish Yourself, Fight a NAME Fighter, Win a World Title, etc.) and Fight Fans Aren't ANY Closer to Knowing If/When Spence-Thurman Happens Than we Were PRIOR to Spence Beating Brook...

And Back THEN, Thurman Said He Wanted 10mil for the Fight! Shit, he'd Want Floyd Money to Fight Spence Now...

As for Porter, the Comments/Behaviors of his Ol' Man, as it Relates to Spence, Makes it CLEAR They Don't Fancy the Fight...Kenny's a CONFIDENT, Borderline COCKY Dude, But There's NO Traces of that When he's Asked about a Fight btwn His Son and Spence...

    It's Unfortunate, Really...

All That Said, REED TRULY Believes Porter Will Get Around to Facing Spence, Eventually...

He's just Trying to STACK Some Paper Against BEATABLE Names 1st...Then he'll Cash Out in a Unification w/Spence and Take that L...

Conversely, REED Doubts Spence and Thurman EVER Share a Boxing Ring...Keith Don't Want that Smoke...NONE Of It...

Why should Thurman fight Spence when he can keep getting paid great to fight others?

    Some would consider it enabling

Thurman's Not Fighting ANYBODY, That's the Problem...After 20 Months of INACTIVITY, a "Champion" Should Be Stripped of his Fucking Title, Period...

To Your Point, if That's the Way Thurman Wants to Play Out the Rest of His Career, STOP Trying to Unify...Don't Be ANXIOUS to Unify w/Garcia or Porter, then Get "Injured" when Spence is the Logical NEXT Move...If You're Not Down for Becoming UNDISPUTED Champ, Keep Your 1 Title to Yourself and Cherrypick…

Fighters KNEW What Floyd's Welterweight M.O. was, So Even as Rival Champions Called Him Out, he Cherrypicked...If You're Really NOT Ambitious Don't ACT Like You Are...

Plenty of Fighters Stayed in their Proverbial "Lanes" Throughout History; Thurman's Driving in BOTH Lanes...

I’ve somehow always had that feeling. Never seen a fighter go to the lengths Thurman has to avoid Spence. It’s embarassing

He brought it on himself. He played Russian roulette with his credibility and image and now people see through him.

He had a lot of momentum coming off the Garcia and Porter fights. Threw it all away.

I sincerly doubt that Porter or Thurman don't think they can beat Spence. Even journeyman boxers tend to think that they can beat anyone in the world

I still hold out hope for Spence-Thurman or Crawford-Thurman but Thurman's a joke now. No good being out for this long.
