I know, and it is of considerable annoyance that on at least 3 occasions Liverpool have posted final season totals that would have been enough to win the Prem in years gone by.

No don't get the wrong impression...........I was trying to draw a spectrum where it starts off a bit formal and reasonable and ends up with people holding their scarves upside down and probably not even knowing the guys name.

Schmeichel is probably traumatized, having witnessed the Chopper going down.

Ironically........she was under-reacting, and under-reacted the whole day too. One of great public displays of stoicism and balls of our times. Having to keep herself together as that shitkicker Johnson took the oath too.

Jackie O was alright. She put up with a lot and only let her hair down after the fact. Jack on the other hand was letting it down, the Dirty Mick.

I think this is the dominant frame of mind at the present moment. Notwithstanding the general indifference regarding friendlies, it's Rooney, who doesn't even have a club in England, and it's a distraction.

I have noticed.... starting just before, being rapidly augmented during and reaching galaxy-proportions after the World Cup in Russia that anything which strays too close to the England Team usually get's chased away fairly quickly.

It's like Rooney is some sort of a bad fat memory or odour that is straying too close to the confines of the aura of the "Most Successful England Team Since 1990".

It's not like there's a Downs squad Rooney can play for... let the little mongoloid have a kick of the ball

Well, it's not exactly the toughest league in the world. I think the MLS teams would struggle against League Two outfits.

Rooney is playing well for DC United.

Don't take this from me, but a Police Detective in Georgetown saw Wayne Rooney and immediately went to somebody to speak about what he saw.

And then Kinderman was like, "hey, do you think we can do anything to help this guy???"

    And Father Karras was like................

The MLS isn't that bad to be honest. Probably as good as the Championship.

Guarantee if Pulis went to the MLS he would still be playing negative, long-ball shite.

Agree. It's decent. I just have no passion for it

I watch Celtic because there's no other club like them anywhere else and there's a villain to hate (Rangers) ... I watch EPL or when possible some Bundesliga or La Liga because it's the best football and while I don't have a full time rooting interest in any of those, there's teams I think are cool (Dortmund, Liverpool, Everton, Newcastle, Gladbach, etc) and loads of teams to root against which is just as fun (Chelsea, Shitty, ManUre, Real, Bayern etc) ...

What am I meant to do with MLS? I'm supposed to get fired up for the match against Sporting Kansas City? Thrill to every kick of the ball as D.C. United knock off LA Galaxy? Even NYCFC is tough to get into... they're wearing Shitty's kit and they're owned by the same slave-driving dictators... how am I supposed to get excited about that?

Yeah no doubt, I get that. I suppose there are no deeply entrenched rivalries or anything. Also, not even just NYCFC, how do you support the other New York side when they're just a big advertisement for Red Bull?

I put a quid on two akkies this weekend

    United to beat Bournemouth
    Everton to beat Brighton
    West Ham to beat Burnley
    Arsenal to beat Liverpool
    Chelsea to beat Palace
    Leicester to beat Cardiff
    City to beat Southampton
    Huddersfield to beat Fulham

one of the Akkies, I put the quid down when United were losing at Bournemouth

So both Akkies basically pay out, for £2, around £980.

Right now, Huddersfield lead Fulham, 1-0.

    Fuck you James Milner.

    lol exactly

Plus they play in New Jersey

That's why I don't root for the Giants or Jets in NFL and instead support the Steelers... if the Giants or Jets actually played in NY, I likely would've supported them instead ... I don't hate them or anything, for the record

Salzburg and Leipzig are the same in Europe. Basically incorporated their sponsors name into the team name and crest.
