There was a thread ages ago when the presidential portraits for Barack Obama and Michelle Obama were released and the conservatives were bugging out about Michelle's portrait and I said that it looked alright to me, didn't get what the big deal was and Anthony then said it didn't look anything like her and I disagreed and said that I thought it looked enough like her and that a portrait isn't a photo but rather a painter's impression of a person... Anthony then said I was lying because I somehow didn't have the same viewpoint as he. Doub read the thread, processed the typed words through his "I'm a fucking retarded crazy guy" information interface and came away with whatever mangled interpretation and now thinks he's stumbled upon meaning in his desperate struggle to someday be right about something

I don't know if you were going for the shitty defender Fitz Hall in that title but 'One Size Fitz Hall' is the best nickname for a footballer ever. I just wish he was good.

    Others that I like are:

Have yourself a merry little Christmas
    White Christmas
It's the most wonderful time of the year
    Frosty the snowman
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

    Great tunes.
One's you will find in every 'people-who-enjoy-Christmas lists'.

Not some depressing shit that the NME told you was 'good' in the mid-90s.

If it wasn't for people who like the U.K. version of The Office, nobody in America would know that Bony M Mary's boy child bullshit ... now it gets played every year like it's some sort of holiday classic when in reality it's daft euro disco crap that nobody here ever heard originally ... Bony M were nothing here, nobody listened to that shit - funkless imitation of black American music

Now every year at work I have to listen to the fucking Christmas songs for a month and hear "long time ago... in beth-le-hem"... it makes ABBA seem like Sly and The Family Stone... daft fuck Euro cunts need your fucking faces kicked in

Cdogg made the argument that criticizing the Obama painting because it didn't look like Obama was silly because it is art. And the point was not to capture a photographic rendering. He seemed to think the painting is above criticism, being that it was simply an artist's interpretation. This seems to be at odds with his attitudes on music.

    As I stated above, mustard

    1) thread happens
    2) Doub throws handful of his feces at wall
    3) Doub sees thread forming on giant screen in his pen and crawls over to the screen to "read" it
    4) people "seem" to be saying stuff
    5) Doub shrieks, slaps the giant screen, marks it with his urine and masturbates in a corner
    6) many months later, while receiving his daily battering from his superiors, he fondly recalls the day the big screen "seemed" to be saying stuff and like a less articulate John Matuszak in "The Goonies" blurts out his own equivalent "Rocky-Road, Ruth-BabY-Ruth"

As per the stoics id say it does a soul good to be reconciled with the gutter and hardship, even if, hopefully, it's only thru thought and art. The drunk, the loveless, the poor immigrant, the cripple, the factotum - standard conditions in most ages and you never know when Fortuna might bounce yer smug ingerlish arse back there on one of her whims, no.

Just that it looks like one of those Hanzy/Panchy posts that either cdogg or myself quote and alter and then reply 'I've no idea what this means'
