For instance, I've only ever been able to watch Mancini-Kim one time. Great fight, but it's just too difficult to watch knowing the ultimate result. Plus, Kim fell into a coma right there in the ring and never woke up. The end of the fight where Kim is trying to get up as he's LITERALLY dying is just too hard to watch for me to view that fight consistently.

I've also seen Sugar Ramos vs Davey Moore, which ended in Moore's death, but that one is a BIT easier to watch, because Moore didn't pass out until he reached his dressing room. That too, was a great fight minus the tragedy.

Eubank-Watson II, Benn-McClellan, they're all difficult to watch despite the fact that all were great fights.

Ramos vs Moore was a freak ring death btw, since Moore's fatal injury didn't come as a result of any punches. It came as a result of his brain stem getting fucked after the base of his neck hit the bottom rope when he went down. To think, had he gotten knocked down in any other location, he would have gotten stopped, but he would have lived.

That's what happened with Eubank-Watson II I think, Watson caught his neck on the bottom rope.

To answer your question, no I can't. I watched Benn-McClellan a couple of times when I was just getting into boxing but it's like watching a snuff film. Too uncomfortable.

I have watched them because I think it's important to understand the history of the sport and because of perspective but once is enough... fights I've seen as live on tv where a death occurred I also have not rewatched

I refuse to watch Mancini-Kim. I did see the documentary on Griffith-Paret 3.

    I can watch Benn-McClellan, Eubank-Watson 2, Quiroga-Anifowoshe...although they’re somewhat tough to watch.
