Joe Joyce is one of those guys I wish had come through with a good trainer (I say the same about Wilder), he has natural attributes which are there but he just can't box for shit.
He has awful technique and doesn't move his head. Unless he has a solid chin, he'll get sparked once he steps up.
I think Joyce sort of represents the high-water point of muscle-men heavyweights who specialize in swatting no-hopers aside. His loss to Usyk more or less exposed him. He's the black Tye Fields. The fact that he got paid about $30,000 for his last fight says a lot. As has been pointed out he's sort of at that stage where he really isn't going to get much better. He has his Valuev style down, just walk in and swat them and see what happens. He looks arthritic.
Yarde looks decent to me although it's obviously hard to really gauge with his level of opposition. Same with Dubois I suppose, the guy clearly has power but he strikes me as the same kinda "big stiff idiot" Fury was on about when he was ranting against Price.
