Yup, you knew this coming. Have at it. I know somebody's gonna pick Wilder... Look, I guess a Wilder hailmary is possible, but the most likely scenario here is George killing the dude.
Nobody is taking Foreman out with one shot, and with that goes any chance for a Wilder victory. He most likely doesn't even get a chance to land it anyway, George gets him out of there early.
I think Foreman gets there first and too often for Wilder. The gap in skill is wide, and Foreman punches harder. Foreman within 3
I don't believe anybody is going to pick Wilder, nor would there be any reason to do so. Valuable thread though
Wilder would be wobbly during the stare down and ko'ed in the first no question. Foreman didn't play back then. He would walk this NBA all star mother fucker down and bounce his head off the floor llike a basketball.
TMZ needs to interview an ex-heavyweight who's not as modest. "Larry Holmes, how do you feel Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder would have done against you in your prime?" "I'd have kicked they muthafuckin ass, that's what!"
I've got to say it's great to hear someone like George who's seventy in January speaking so clearly and lucidly. Amazing really, seeing he had two careers and fought so long while his contemporaries and even guys a generation or more younger are often damn near unintelligible.
I predict Foreman might make it into his 90's. Or at least, his late 80's. I figure Leonard might be the fighter who lives the longest. Leonard has some fucking amazing genes in his family, as both his parents are STILL alive.
