Anyone catch these two going at it (verbally of course) on ESPN’s First Take? Basically ODLH accuses DW of ripping off his UFC fighters and claiming they complain to him about getting short changed. DW calling ODLH an idiot, refuting ODLH’s claims while also saying ODLH doesn’t know what he’s doing and that ODLH is a liar. DW’s biggest issue apparently was ODLH telling people not to buy the UFC card that aired the same night as one of his boxing cards. ODLH’s argument: DW’s argument: Have to say I believe Dana as ODLH is an idiot and a liar.
I thought some of the stuff DW said was pretty interesting. I’d advise anyone who didn’t see these to at least listen to the DW interview. What I found particularly interesting was when it was mentioned how DW found the formula to make a fair pay format and a system where the best fight the best, would be be interested in working in boxing and he responded it was already trying to do so.
Oscar is dying in that suit. You know the poor guy can't wait to go home and slip into something more "comfortable"

That goes without saying. I actually wish it would come down to a physical altercation. It would be hilarious to see Oscar render that fake guy unconscious in a matter of seconds. But it never would come down to that, White isn't stupid. Oscar isn't stupid either, because White would surely sue him for millions.
I love how Oscar lied and said that the coke was 15 years behind him. I'm still convinced he was probably doing lines with Hatton before the Fury-Wilder fight.
So in retrospect, all those years ago, maybe DLH-Whitaker should have been billed as "The Real Cocaine Cowboys."
I think it would be a good modern say sitcom. They're room mates coking it up and always end up bickering about who won their fight. Either guy will concede they lost the fight if the other saves them the last line.
And once a week Leonard shows up at the house, and the three of them share lines and get emotional remembering their fallen coke brother, the late Camacho Sr.
Dana White actually was training for a boxing match with Tito Ortiz back in 2006. SpikeTV covered it. The fight didn't happen though.
DLH is wasting his time with venturing into MMA. There's no money in it. Most competing leagues go bankrupt. There's not much in the way of viewership for MMA outside of the biggest UFC fights. It all comes down to starpower and there's a lack of it in MMA. Just Bleed days are over. People moved on. Nobody pays 40 bucks to see random nobodies fighting. And most people won't even watch it for free looking at the ratings for FightNight and UFC on Fox.
This whole mess started because DLH put Chuck Liddell's corpse into the cage and Dana being a close friend of Chuck's was horrified in seeing Chuck laid out from a single Tito right hand. What's interesting is that Dana was paying Chuck a million per year to stay retired and work in the UFC's offices. Chuck didn't spend a day in any UFC office. Once Endeavour took over and cut all the dead weight and cleared most of their Canadian offices, they tossed Chuck and Matt Hughes to the curb but kept Forrest Griffin because he was the only one who knew how to write on a notepad and actually came in to work daily. Dana should've offered Chuck a job in janitorial services. The bills don't stop coming even after a fighter retires. And Chuck was the one who wanted the Ortiz fight for the money. DLH gave him the opportunity.
It's interesting that DW cancelled UFC 233. It was gonna go head to head with Bellator that night I believe.
